Old Alabama Road location – We ended up here unexpectedly. We were in the area on a Saturday afternoon and our gps had this place pop up. We were pleasantly surprised! The hostess was extremely sweet, and was surprised when we asked her in return how she was. Our waitress, Jennifer, was professional and attentive. She never let our drinks get low. The manager Todd stopped by our table a few times to see if we needed anything. We were given J.T.’s Kettle Chips appetizer and it was delicious! It’s not something we’d normally order, but we will when we go back! The atmosphere was cozy and upscale without being too much. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious! We ordered the French dip and spiced pan roasted chicken. The steak in the sandwich was tender and the sauce on the bread had a good flavor. The chicken was tender and well spiced. The green beans and the rice were fantastic! The spices were well paired, and the green beans were fresh! I asked Manager Todd about them. They buy their ingredients fresh and don’t use frozen! You could tell in the taste and texture of the food! The quality of the meal and dinning experience was well worth the money. 10/10

Molly and Whitney at the bar are great! Wonderful service. I highly recommend the firecracker shrimp. It’s so good, I have dreams about it. They have unique flatbread specials and I haven’t had a bad one yet! This Marlow’s location is top tier; highly recommend!

There was a HUGE shard of glass in my burger!!! I am absolutely appalled and can’t believe this would even happen. Thank the lord I bit into it the way I did because had I swallowed it I could’ve gone to the hospital. Absolutely ridiculous. This restaurant needs to be shut down immediately!!!

This is the original – and in my opinion the best – Marlow’s. It’s a great lunch spot, with fast service and consistently well prepared food. Over the years (and more than 100 visits) I’ve tried their salads, burgers, tacos, steak, chicken, and fish. I’ve seldom had any issue with my order – and the couple times I was brought the ‘incorrect’ item, it actually helped me discover what became a new favorite (thinking of you, Chickpea Fries and Miso Soy Vinaigrette)!
One of my favorite parts is everything on the menu is good – so rather than ordering based on their specialty, you can order to your taste. Of the dozens of people I’ve introduced to Marlow’s, all have been happy with their food and service. My most commonly ordered dishes are their salads, chickpea fries, and chicken stack; my husband loves the fish tacos, burgers, and truffle fries.
If you’re looking for a great meal in the neighborhood, I recommend it!

Food is going down hill here, service was just as bad. Ordered a martini and the glass was half full, I mentioned something about this and the server said they would correct it but never did. Ordered another martini and the same. $15 for half of a martini, really?

Love Marlow’s it is always consistent. Food and service. The salad with salmon was awesome. The fish was cooked to perfection. Staff is well trained.

My wife had a new salad Thai Shrimp. She said it was delicious.

Everyone really enjoyed their meal, especially when it came out hot presentation and we did not have to wait long before it was on our table.
They really need to think about having lunch specials along with senior a citizens discount.

This is a lovely Marlows and it is quite busy. Inside was very loud, so we went outside and it was only medium loud. (A weekend night, so lots of folks drinking.) The food was very good and our server was very nice and efficient. Despite being quite busy, she was friendly and timely; and she brought refills before we asked. We’ve got a few Marlow’s in the area from which to choose and this is one of the better ones.

Would’ve given 5 stars were it not for the time it took to get me a menu. I arrived by myself, sat on table saw a couple of waitress walk by pass me 3 or 4 times I even waved, until I had to stop one and ask for a menu. The place wasn’t even half full. Afterwards still no one came for my order so I decided to sit ar the bar and the lady serving there was way better and nice. I told her I was practically being ignored so she made sure I got a great service, had a burger which was very good, definitely will come again to try other things on the menu and hopefully the attention will also be better.

Ordered the sea bass fish tacos. They came out burnt to a crisp. Asked for a remake of one of the tacos and it came back almost raw. I have celiacs and ordered from the gluten-free menu. Ordered Caesar salad as a side and they glutened me with crumbled croutons. My stomach is in so much pain and am extremely bloated. I just took my celiac medication and It will take days for this gluten to pass through my system. I spoke to the manager Chris, who is an utter disgrace for a manager. He said he had poor vision and couldn’t tell if there were croutons and that he told his kitchen staff that it was a gluten-free order. He clearly wanted to be argumentative and literally had zero compassion for the situation that I was just put in being glutened. Obviously it was not gluten free. It’s very upsetting because I’ve tried so hard to find places to eat that understand the importance of celiacs and/or gluten sensitivity. This manager did not give one single care. Will never go to this Marlow’s again! It’s such a shame because it’s used to be great. Will continue to be a patron of Avalon Marlow’s from this point forward. The extra drive to the Avalon Marlow’s is well worth it for anybody living in the Johns Creek/Country Club of the South Area.
