It was buddies first night out at a bar last night(freshly 21) and the bartender devin was super chill with him talking about different drinks he can try based on what flavors he like. Thought it was cool because he’s got social issues and she made him feel right at home. Great attitude and fun to talk with.

Food and drinks are amazing but one of the staff members isn’t. My whole group loved going to Baackers until Devin (might be spelled wrong) started causing problems. All she does is talk bad about everyone she knows including my friends and family that have… never met her? I’ve watched her make so many girls walk out of that bar crying because of her being rude and making up lies about customers. There’s so many people I know in town that refuse to go now when she’s there. She always has a snarky attitude, telling people how to play pool and darts, getting upset when people order food or water. The list can keep going.
If you want to go to a good bar with a friendly atmosphere, go to Dusty Lady or wait until The Bar reopens. The staff there have always been so welcoming and polite to anyone that walks through their doors.

We were laid over in Le Mars, IA. One of the Love’s employees took his lunch and drove us over to Baacker’s bar so we could get out if the truck got a bit. We can’t move the semi, so this was amazing. The people here are more than amazing, and the food is delicious. We stayed for the Chief’s game, and one of the bartenders had on a Vikings shirt, who the Chiefs happened to be playing. It was a truly great time. Someone had brought in biscuits and gravy, which they offered to us for free. A pitcher of beer was only $12, and we also had the all meat pizza and mozzarella sticks. If you are ever going thru here, I would recommend the trip. It is worth it. When we left, (the love’s guy came and picked us up and took us back to the truck) we had a bag full of homegrown veggies and 2 boxes of fudge mint cookies. This town of food with amazing human beings!!!
And you have to see the their collection of old beer cans. It was awesome to see!!

As an out-of-towner lots of small town bars make you feel like an out-of-towner. Not Baackers!! Kendal and the rest of the bar were nothing but friendly and welcoming. Updated! Great atmosphere! Music was awesome! I would definitely come back!!

This is a dive bar. Food was overpriced and not good. Service was your typical heavy smoker retirement age bartender who is too tired to smile.

This is the only good standing bar left in LeMars. The others are small and out of date. This places has a lot of room in it. It’s a hopping place to get a drink and even food. I’ve been here a few minutes for lunch. Everyday they serve something different for lunch. Weekends this is where all the locals go to have a good time with family and friends. The staff here are really friendly and can shoot the drinks out to you as fast as you can order them. Plenty of stuff to do at this bar: darts, pool, arcade games, and even shoot hoops in doors. Overall this is a happy festive place.

As a group, my family went to celebrate a birthday. We were completely ignored by the server. We waited 15 minutes to be helped and she never came to our table.
