Reviews
I have to place this review today.
Placed my order online as usual so I don’t have you deal with the staff. You never knows what you’ll get.
So, my 4 yo granddaughter wanted Canadian Bacon on her mini one. Made sense to order the mini pepperoni then exchange for some CB. I called right after ordering and spoke with a young girl whom I explained what I wanted.
She told me that she would have to charge me extra because CB is a “high end” meat.
I again explained that I just wanted to swap out the pepperoni for a couple slices of CB. Again, she said it would cost me. $1.00
There was more to the Convo but you get the gist.
In the end, Papa shared 2 slices of his CB with her (she makes her own pizza) and he took her pepperoni. ♥️

We miss Doug. He was a great manager.
Oh…and I got the crusty artichoke leaves on my pizza. Thanks.
In about 10 days ago they made a mistake on my pizza and that’s not really that big of a deal considering when I called them and told them about the mistake they quickly gave me a little card to get a new pizza of any kind that I wanted well I kind of like the same old Pizza that’s just me.
I really love the chicken bacon artichoke extra cheese extra chicken and when I brought home my free pizza I throw a little tomato on it from my garden.
Thank you Papa Murphy’s for making it right.
I had plans to grab a couple pizzas and head to my mom’s and have dinner with my family. I tried to call around 7 p.m., no answer but I seen they were Open when I drove by earlier so I keep trying to call, no answer. I downloaded the app to place the order to see if I could pick it up, it said NO! The app told me my pick up time would be out of schedule. So I drive there and when I walked in it was only 7:45 p.m., I walk in and the bell rings but they have music blasting real loud so they didn’t hear the bell so I stand there for a few minutes as the girls are back there talking about closing and dancing around singing to the music like the mop was a microphone then they noticed me waiting at the counter and she goes “Oh my gosh you scared me! I didn’t hear the bell ring, it must be broken again…” No you just have the music so loud I heard the bell but you didn’t as you did your karaoke
Then she goes “What can I do for you?” So I said I tried to call and also place an order on the app but it wouldn’t let me…” She said “It don’t let customers order when we only have 30 minutes until closing!”. So I said “I’m confused so can I order?” She started pushing buttons on the cash register and said “Okay, what would you like?” I said “Let me get a stuffed crust…” And she immediately starts huffing and puffing and looks over her shoulder to try to use an excuse why I can’t do stuffed crust. Her plan didn’t work because they did have one there on the shelf so she continues taking my order I ask for the Italian sprinkles on the cheese side of the pizza she huffs and puffs again and says “We actually just cleaned out all the sprinkle shakers” as if to deter me from ordering. So I said “Oh well don’t worry about the sprinkles then if it’s a big deal. I guess just half cheese and half pepperoni..” then I say “And then I want one more pizza…” And she immediately says “I’m sorry we already put everything away for the night!”
So then why did you just sit here rudely taking my order when the store is OPEN FOR BUSINESS… I didn’t realize you close at 7:45 and getting a bad review and ruining the dinner plans for not only my mother but my wife as well on mother’s Day was more important to you so you can close down early!
I said “Well what time do you close?” She said “At 8 and plus it’s mother’s Day!” As if I am supposed to feel bad for HER!!!!!
I know it’s mother’s day! That is the whole reason I am trying to grab food to go that is easier than cooking a full on meal so I can spend time with my wife, mother and family. Why should I feel bad for you? You chose to work on a holiday! Not me! And if your business hours say you close at 8 that means you should be open for business and still serving the public! Not cleaning early so you can leave a few minutes earlier! I’m sure the employees get paid to work until 8 p.m. but you don’t want to serve customers. So I said “Well where is the nearest Papa Murphy’s besides your location then? I guess I will drive somewhere else and spend my money there.” She goes “I’m not sure because we are a privately owned franchise…” Then as I go to walk out pissed off she goes “Sorry about that! It’s just mother’s day and almost closing and already put everything away!” I’m just like yeah whatever lady!!!!!
I can literally see everything still sitting right there! The cheese, the crust, the pepperoni, all the toppings were still out! They even had 2-3 pizzas on the shelf other people ordered that still needed to be picked up so obviously they couldn’t close yet. But whatever, I guess it was more important to leave five minutes early and get this review and ruin my family’s mother’s day when in reality it would have only took you that same five minutes to make the pizzas!
Hope you made it home in time to spend time with YOUR mom since that was more important then my time with my mom! And thanks for wasting my time I could have been spending with her rather than trying to get pizza and being let down!
We ordered online 1 hour before closing and ended up with this when picking up. I also paid tip. Paid over $25 for a half done pizza. Very disappointed. Employees said it’s closing time and don’t have the time to finish the pizza…
