We stayed across the street at the Arrowwood and kept seeing this little Brisith-themed restaurant, so we decided to try it out.
I didn’t catch the girl’s name, but she was a great help in recommending meals for my wife and I. I got the chick thigh sandwich, which was delicious and crunchy. My wife got the fish-and-chips. The cod itself was delicious, though the breading was slightly doughy. Our kids enjoyed their meals as well.
I only gave it a 4/5 because it’s slightly overpriced and you don’t get sides with the meal, but it was still delicious and a nice stop in our vacation.

Pretty greasy. Sandwiches were good. Fries were cold upon arrival. If you are getting items to go, they are really skimpy on condomintsand napkins, so make sure you check your bag before leaving.

My family of 5 went here on a Monday evening. We reviewed the menu ahead of time and knew there was nothing on the menu the kids would want so we grabbed them something else. I had the spicy chicken thigh with cheese curds and the wife had the smack burger. We both enjoyed our food. The good things: tasty food and minimal wait. The bad: basically no indoor seating, barely a kids meal, and sides cost extra.

The place works really well for the location. It is a very simple shack but offers outstanding food. Located on a major road through Okoboji it is very easy to get to, decent parking, and picnic tables to eat on site. Overall a great option for a great area.

Family is in from out of town, decided to try this place. OH MY GOOD GAWD!!! Super friendly staff with Phenomenal customer service! I got the dodgey-fried pickle burger and basically inhaled the whole thing!! One of the best things I’ve eaten in a while! The rest of the family all said their food was amazing as well! We’re in town for 3 more days and will DEFINITELY be back soon!
