We loved this place!!! There was so much on the menu we wanted to try so we just got a bunch of apps and sides!! Our favorite was the lion king roll! I enjoyed cooked salmon on top of a roll! We tried some new veggies and wow, the white onion one was really good!!! We have had tamago before but never avocado nigiri, SOOO good!!!
Our waitress was a delight! She was chatty explaining to us what we ordered and where in country it was popular. I wish we were local cause I would be regular here!!

This place was BUSY. We didn’t expect it to be this packed on a Sunday night. The food was phenomenal, service was good they were just busy so you kinda had to flag someone down. Atmosphere was very loud and the layout can be cramped. The chairs at the sushi bar aren’t short people friendly. I felr like I was sliding out of the chair the whole time. I’d probably wait for a booth next time. We ordered hot tea which came in individual cups but was tasty! Then ordered sushi and it was the perfect amount not one of us left with a takeout box. SO MANY OPTIONS! Little spendy but expected for the location.

Great place for lunch with family. Pictured is the chicken teriyaki. It could’ve used more sauce bit otherwise okay. Everyone else loved the sushi.

This is a fantastic sushi joint – I’ve been here many times over the past couple of years and the service is ALWAYS on-point. The food is excellent, and absolutely everything is made with passion. We even got to speak with the bar manager and let her know that her drink concoctions were a standout!!

Delicious place! Very high quality food for a decent price point if you don’t get the more expensive items. However, that being said, it can get pricey if you’re planning to get more than a simple bite or two. The quality is fresh so I recommend it. Very cool inside, the location at Bridgeport mall is fancy with red lights, and a fireplace. I went on a Friday and it was very crowded and loud, and I wouldn’t say very covis friendly as the tables are far too close together to be safe. My friend and I spent 40 on 2 roles and a shared appetizer, and the roles were basic, spicy salmon and spicy tuna but delicious! I recommend them! We also shared the tuna poke/Seaweed salad salad plate which was delicious but it wasn’t a huge portion. Enough to snack on and be hungry 2 to 3 hours later, but if you aren’t too hungry perfect amount and within reasonable price range. Worth going and experiencing for yourself! The wait time on the Friday we went for 2 people was about 35 minutes even though they said 20 minutes. Our server was friendly and attentive enough so that was nice!

Ayano was a phenomenal server and everything we ate was delicious. The sake flight was a fantastic way to try new tastes with very generous pours. The fish was all so fresh. Will definitely be back.

It’s been years since our last visit and its just as we remembered it. Big menu with a lot of options to choose from. We love sushi, so this place was on our list! Colorful ambiance throughout with different decor that makes you want to look around and take on all in. And of course, friendly service from the staff from the time we arrived and throughout our entire dining experience. Overall✅✅&✅! Mahalo Sinju Sushi!

Sushi is an art as well as nourishment. The sushi here is very nourishing but doesn’t quite reach the level of art. I do recommend the restaurant, but there are better sushi spots.

Despite the restaurant having no customers seated, they seemed hesitant to seat us because we had 6 people in our party and no reservation – which seems odd and ridiculous. Host and servers put off an air of arrogance. Prices are high for what you get. Sushi rolls are $19. Would not recommend for families, but maybe for a fancy date if you like to go to overpriced restaurants to compensate for something. Also found out that happy hour is only for those seated outside, just FYI.
