Enjoyed the food. Very generous portions. Skip the appetizer unless you have a great big appetite (although the crab cakes were nice). We sat at the bar and were well taken care of. Had not been there in a long time, just kind of forgot the place. I’ll go back soon; seems like a good place to go if solo and like sitting at the bar.

A great disappointment in service. I’m new to the area and decided that the nicest and most elegant restaurant in town would be the perfect place to bring a visiting friend for lunch. But our waiter, Keith P., was extremely cold and inattentive. The food was excellent but we were bewildered and disappointed at this waiter’s unfriendliness toward us. I was embarrassed and my friend’s experience of this “restaurant of the year” (about which she had heard great things) was unfortunately in line with her general impression of the Pointes.

Made reservations for mothers day, haven’t been to the hill in years so figured it would be a nice change. of course it was busy, its mothers day. we were seated, and 15 minutes later we were finally greeted , then ordered drinks and appetizer. before appetizer arrived a different server showed up and said he would be taking care of us because the other guy had a big table to attend to. we placed our order with him, and pretty much never saw him again until the other guy brought us our bill and he brought it back. we waited 20 to 30 minutes from when we finished our meal until anyone came back to the table. I have worked at restaurants in the past and its also management to blame, there should have been someone on the floor observing and seeing guests like us just sitting there with no service. We arrived at 5 pm, and didn’t leave until after 7pm, with just having 1 glass of wine, we will never be back, just a terrible experience!

Ordered steaks medium and got well done. Couldn’t send back because the waitress never came by to see how things were. It was very slow, the meal took a good 40 minutes to come out and they only had about 6 tables with customers. Way to pricey for what you get.

Love this place. We come in to listen to Don Farrah on the piano and sit at the bar. Crissy the bartender is phenomenal. She remembers everything! She can handle the entire bar & even remembered what we ordered the last time we were in. She’s a definite keeper.
