TUSCANY PIZZA & CAFÉ – READ THIS
I walked into Tuscany expecting pizza.
I walked out questioning every meal I’ve ever eaten before.
Let me be clear: this is not a pizza place. This is a culinary awakening disguised as a café.
The moment you open the door, something shifts. The smell alone should require a warning label. The pizza hits the table looking like it was handcrafted by someone who respects you as a human being. The crust? Perfectly balanced—crispy, airy, and somehow emotional. The sauce tastes like it was simmered by an Italian grandmother who doesn’t speak English and doesn’t tolerate nonsense. The cheese stretches so far it should pay rent.
And then there’s the café side—smooth, rich coffee that doesn’t just wake you up, it reminds you why you’re alive. One sip and suddenly you’re more focused, more peaceful, and slightly convinced you should start a novel.
Every bite feels intentional. Every detail matters. You can taste that nobody here is cutting corners. This is food made by people who care deeply, almost dangerously so.
I’ve seen families go silent mid-conversation. I’ve watched skeptics become loyalists in under five minutes. I’ve personally reconsidered my weekly schedule just to make room for Tuscany.
If you haven’t been here yet, I honestly envy you—because your first bite is still ahead of you.
Tuscany isn’t a place you try once.
It’s a place you build cravings around.
Go hungry.
Leave humbled.
There is booth seating and then a different seating section next door rthe other way with seats and tables.
Wind is an issue and cold is an issue during the winter (when I visited). This place is a kosher pizza place with all you assume including sushi.
The place is older looking, constantly dirty, but there was a table that help a well stocked plates, cups, and plasticware.
The people working there were very nice. You order on a machine (not me) or at the counter. The order took some time as I was new to the place and the order taken was not familliar with the items being sold. We had 3 items on the menu not available.
The food came and was unfortunantly bland, some over seasoned, some underseasoned, amd the baked zite noodles were hammered. The sauce for the baked ziti smelled like it was going bad. We served to a seperate plate and it was fine but what was on the serving tin smelled like it was going bad. The pizza must have been froEn at some point and our specialty slices needed a knife and fork to cut through. It was busy the whole time we were there ao the locals might know what to order or just accept it for what it was.
The place is made to cater largee family sizes but having to constantly ask to get by strollers got tiresome after the third time.
In the future I will skip but again looked like the neighborhood likes the place.
Being that you are passing a more upscale reatraunt two lots before this one I would suggest the other spot then this one.
The food was not bad.
The service was very good.
The taste is something special.
