Restaurant is clean and modestly decorated. Staff was friendly and quick. The crab rangoon was good as was the bbq pork appetizer. The Mongolian beef was good, the bbq pork foo young was alright. I would pass on the general chicken. It was battered and covered with sauce the way I would expect for sweet and sour chicken. I was excited that there was actually egg in the fried rice (first time finding that in KS)! Food was a little pricier than I expected. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to eat here but I’m not sure I would eat here again myself.

Fast service and cute decor. Egg rolls are tops. Crispy and cooked well. They slice them when served so if you don’t like that ask them not to.
King Po was great… fresh, hot & spicy. Stop by if in Newton. The freight trains shacking your food a bit when they roll by is a nice touch.

Bought a lunch combo for $10 and I got 2 pieces of chicken and “pork lo mein” had very little noddles and they were undercooked and crunchy… I give 2 stars because service was good and rice was good. Maybe I came on a bad day but I definitely would not come back.

Gotta get your egg rolls here. I didn’t know what good egg rolls were until I tried these. Never been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten here. I live in Michigan but always make sure to get dinner here when we visit Newton. Huge recommend.

China Inn has the best egg rolls I can find anywhere!! If you like them hot enough to burn your mouth like I do… order them uncut. I’m so glad they moved from their old location. I love this new location. It’s bright and clean and always really good food.

My family has gone to China Inn for around 20 years now, and it never fails to satisfy! The egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had, the soups are incredible and reasonably priced, and the combination dinners are a great deal where you can try a number of dishes. The service is consistently great.

Me and family came in to eat and right out the gates the waitress got two out of three people drink order and before I could say what I wanted she ran off and then she came back with a bad attitude. When did a hamburger come with nothing on it except meat and bun. will never come back to this place again because of the sevice.
