Last night I went to Cotton Gin Café and I’m not exaggerating when I say it might’ve been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the second you walk in, the place just feels warm and welcoming — like small-town charm mixed with next-level quality. The atmosphere is cozy but still classy, the kind of spot where you instantly know you picked the right place.
The service? Unreal. Attentive without being overbearing, friendly without feeling forced. They made us feel like regulars even though we had just walked in. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience, not just getting you in and out.
And the food… ridiculous. Everything came out hot, fresh, and plated beautifully. Every bite tasted like it was made with real intention — perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of meal where you’re still thinking about it hours later. No notes. Zero complaints. Just elite.

I can definitely recommend stopping by this place if you are traveling on HWY175. This was the first time I’ve eaten here since the old Cotton Gin was around. The service was great, the food was still as good as it was in the past and the people were very friendly. And this being a gas station combo makes it very convenient for those traveling. We will stop back in next time we are in the area.

Everything we have ordered has been delicious and we love the outdoor live music. But every time we have ordered something either for sit down or to go something has been forgotten. Ordered 2 orders of wings with dipping sauce but they forgot the dipping sauce. Ordered 2 sandwiches with a side of fries and got bo fries. Please make sure that the food ticket is checked thoroughly at each check point so that customers don’t have to waists their time or money.

I was really surprised at how great the food was. I don’t typically eat at a restaurant that’s connected to a gas station.
You can tell the food is freshly made and the portions are large. My chicken fried steak made three meals. The steak was so tender and the mashed potatoes were great.
Came a couple of times for breakfast when y’all first started serving it. It was a little rough in that while the food tasted good, I don’t think the cook knew how to make an omelette. Last time I came in ordered an omelette though it was perfect.
My grandkids love to come for lunch as they get to play on the playground while we wait for our food. They don’t get to play for long is the food usually comes out very quickly.

I love the “kiddie” drink options. Pina colada kid drink was fantastic. We ordered hot honey chicken sandwich and buffalo chicken flatbread. We will definitely be back. Kid friendly too.

This is a great place. You wont get better service anywhere. Usually I would say that about the food. Today was the first hiccup I have had with this place. I ordered fries and onion rings. They were microwaved so long that the boxes were stuck together. Anything I have ever gotten there was FRESH. I hope they were just having a bad day cuz I do love this place. I will go back.
