All the foods are so creative and generally good
I got
1. Korean Chicken wings – appetizer. Very good
2. Taco – first bite was good. A little heavy but still liked it
3. Red curry – this was my dish. Unfortunately it was SO salty I couldn’t eat at all. I just had to eat rice that comes with it and drain 30 dollars I think the chef might have made a mistake with salt

Drink was good too

Great service, and wonder food. I had New York strip with frites, my wife had lobster and scallop risotto. They had a drink special, Butter my Biscuit, a brown butter fat washed old fashioned. It was one of the best drinks I have had.

This gem of a place was an absolute delight. We sat at the bar and our bartender (I think Brian was his name)) was simply the best. He and the entire staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean and cozy.
He explained us the drinks and a lot of them were intriguing. The drinks we ordered were simply the best. We had Cheech & Ching and
Hot Dirty Pickle.
He also explained us different appetizers and mains. The food was out of the world. This elevated American food is a must try. Pork Belly was mind blowing and so was the Schnitzlenator. We shared both appetizer and Mains.
Now, we wanted to try dessert. They were out of ice cream but had last scoop left that they offered us to try. The ice cream was Banana Curry and it was sooooo delicious. I wish they had more available. We ordered Sweet Potato Cake with Cinnamon butter cream. It was light, most, and not overly sweet. It was surprisingly super delicious dessert.
We highly recommend this restaurant whether you are a local or visiting. We will definitely return for another meal ☺️

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly stuff and delicious meals makes this restaurant a must visit when in Bangor. I tried the fried chicken and waffles while my wife went for an Italian dish. The mushroom appetizer dish was also excellent!

I ordered the Spicy Peanut Chicken Pot pie and my husband ordered Shrimp and pork belly over Drunken Noodles.
Though we do not have dietary restrictions, the restaurant’s effort to accommodate them was noted.

I have been wanting to check this place out since they opened and I finally did. They surpassed my expectations. It was definitely a dining experience not to be missed out on. I ordered an island punch drink. If you like spicy you will love it. Gives a little tingle to the lips. I also ordered the tacos birria and the drunken noodles. Very generous portions. Fast, friendly, and attentive service. They got me seated right away even though they were busy. Stellar food and service! It’s going to be a new favorite place for me to go and treat myself.

This place has great reviews and I enjoy trying new places! I arrived around 6:30 to a half-full restaurant/bar. Brittany brought me still water right away and a menu. I couldn’t wait to see what would be the chef’s pasta. Tonight it was fresh fettuccine pasta made with spinach and herbs. Very earthy and delicious! I ordered it with lobster (served with two claws for an additional $12). The ratio of (too much) pasta to lobster was way off. The pasta smelled and looked delish, it was over-dressed (ie oily, garlic, etc – and I love garlic).

I started with a small salad with tomatoes, arugula and a bacon vinaigrette. Very tasty, too much dressing though. Perfect portion size.

I asked for fresh silverware when my entree arrived and I believe my waitress rolled her eyes however I did get additional silverware. I also asked for salt and pepper, in which she definitely rolled her eyes. I decided not to ask for a pasta spoon because the vibe was negative toward my other requests but the pasta length was very long to swirl on my fork and it was extremely hot.

I ordered a non-alcohol sparkling wine which was a nice addition. Brittany checked on me twice during my entree but I waited at least 15 minutes after I finished my meal for her to come my way so I could request the bill.

I may give this place another try, next time with friends, when I’m back in Bangor.

My friend and I stopped by here for dinner and we were lucky enough to score a couple seats at the bar. The place was full, it is obviously very popular. The atmosphere was great, it’s cozy and fun. You can see that a lot of thought went into the little things. The drinks were delicious and we were blown away by the food. We shared a salad, an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert. We both enjoyed every part of our dining experience. I hope to go back here again soon. Also.. the bathroom art work is perfect, I actually laughed out loud!

Had a Valentines dinner, and everything was well executed, with attentive service without being fawning. The meatball app was tender, flavorful and accompanied by balanced marinara. The lobster bisque was outstanding. The filet was perfectly cooked, and the sauce and potatoes were worthy costars. Typed off with a miso butterscotch creme brulee that was simply unctuous. We look forward to trying the full menu.

I will be dreaming of this meal for months. If you are ever in the area, please do yourself a favor and give The Butcher The Baker a try. My partner and I came for our anniversary dinner while traveling to Bangor. Service was amazing, the staff was super pleasant, the restaurant was clean with a good atmosphere, and the food was BEYOND delicious! We ordered the Korean BBQ Wings for an appetizer (which were hands down the best wings either of us had ever had, with HUGE portions and delicious, crispy chicken), the Drunken Noodles, and Chicken and Waffles. Every single thing we tried was absolutely delicious. I am a french fry connoisseur, so I had to order a side of fries, and I was met with a huge portion of deliciously crispy fries salted to perfection (for only $5!). I cannot stress enough how incredible this dining experience was, probably in the top few dinners I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying! I can’t wait to come back.
