I haven’t had really good catfish, like that in years. Everything was delicious and fresh. The catfish had a really crispy coating. The inside of the meat moist & and tender and not overcooked. The beans were spectacular…everything was! Will definitely be going back there. Wish they were open later. Our waitress was funny & informative. Really good dining experience.

Was in town from South Florida and had breakfast here and it was great. The pancakes are so good the bacon was crispy not burt or greasy. Bisque and gravy is amazing. Wanted to get back to try dinner but didn’t get too. This place is has great food, prices and staff.

I am new to Nashville, so I had never heard of this place before this week. When my partner at work took me here, I initially had doubts that the food could be as good as it was. Holy smokes, was I wrong. Best meatloaf I’ve had since Mama made it. Best hamburger steak since… EVER. Service was prompt and SO friendly. I love that Nashville seems to be the kind of town where everyone knows everyone, and that is certainly reflected in the service at Smokin Rick’s. I’d imagine this is the kind of place that ends up on “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives”, with glowing reviews. Can’t wait to go back and get some BBQ, hopefully today!

We went here for breakfast and it was fabulous! I got the regular stack of pancakes (3) because I was expecting average sized pancakes, but these were huge. I filled up on pancakes and barely touched the sausage that came with it. The pancakes were absolutely delicious!!! The service was wonderful too!

A local recommended this place, I’m glad we went! Very reasonably priced and very delicious. I took a bite and said “Wow!” and my 7 yr old son said “we should definitely eat here again”. Took about 10-15 minutes to get 3 sandwiches using the drive thru—we were the only car—so not super fast. But definitely worth it! The drive thru is very narrow and the parking lot is small so larger pickup trucks or anyone with a trailer will have to find parking nearby

Good food ; friendly staff. I ordered the two- fer I believe it comes with eggs hash browns and two pancakes. My boyfriend ordered there oatmeal and I tried it it was so delicious it reminded me of my grandmothers oatmeal. Made me feel homey and I enjoyed the environment seems like a cute little place where everyone goes for so good breakfast or lunch great menu. Will definatly be going back

Man you cannot go wrong here they have every kind of food that you can imagine. I had the pulled pork and tater toys man that was great and my wife had burnt ends brisket with a side. You cannot go wrong here. The staff are very friendly and polite.

Because I can’t give a half star. Arrived prior to end of stated breakfast hours, waited at door 5 minutes to be seated. Upon being seated, was told they are no longer serving breakfast, which was the entire reason for this choice. Took lunch order. Mostly ignored by staff for the greater than 45 minutes it took to deliver our food.
I am not at all impressed with the customer service at this place. I, however am impressed they are still in business.
Now about the food. My wife ordered chicken fried steak, took 3 bites and said it’s not worth the carb intake. “This is the worst I’ve ever tasted.”. I ordered the fish and shrimp. Fish was muddy and overcooked, the shrimp we’re very small. The cocktail sauce was served in straight from Cisco single serving plastic tubs like you would get at Long John Silvers. So was the tartar sauce. I had to get up and get my own Louisiana hot sauce. I have eaten worse food, but I don’t think MREs count. We will never be back.
