My husband and I always come here whenever we’re craving sushi or a poke bowl, and it never disappoints. Their sushi selection is amazing—so many flavors, and every single one is absolutely delicious! But our true favorite has to be the poke bowls. You get everything you could want in one bowl, and it’s always so fresh and satisfying.
What really touched our hearts, though, was their incredible customer service. During a previous order, we were accidentally given the wrong sushi. The staff immediately reached out to us to let us know about the mistake, which we truly appreciated. They promised us a discount on our next order—and they actually kept their promise. That kind of honesty and care means so much to us. It’s rare to find service like that, and it made us love this place even more.
We are so happy to support J Sushi. The food is amazing, the staff is kind and thoughtful, and the overall experience is always wonderful. Highly, highly recommend! And one more thing—definitely check out their interior! It has transformed into such a beautiful space, and now you can dine in and really enjoy the atmosphere. We absolutely love this place

I have always been a customer. I will no longer order from them. This place is a scan. I ordered through door-dash and they charged me an additional $13.36 for a small side of jalapeño. Every time I order they charge $1.50 for the side. There is no way in the world this side cost $13.36

The sushi was decent, but the Las Vegas roll didn’t taste good at all. The place seems more like a takeout spot than somewhere you’d want to sit and dine. Great for a quick grab, but not for the experience.

J Sushi puts so much effort into every item on their menu. Even the complementary miso soup and salad were more flavorful than what I’ve had at any other sushi restaurant in Michigan.
The fish quality is out of this world, and their new tempura udon is definitely a must-try.
Also, there are a number of vegan-friendly options! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Finally a truly outstanding sushi joint in MI. A quality family-owned business: delicious & original sushi; friendly owner; and very clean. They take care to provide the freshest sashimi; and the volcano roll & BBQ eel were excellent! Definitely recommend, especially for takeout!

First time ordering here and it was good. It’s a small little place but the employees were kind. They have a lot of choices to choose from the menu. This is a 14 inch platter custom order (your choice of roll) and they also have pre-made platter to go as well. Their platter size are 14in, 16in and another size which I forgot. I think the price is fair especially for the size that I ordered because another restaurant charged me $65. I will definitely come here again.

I would not recommend eating here as their fish is not fresh and gives off an odor. I’ve been eating sushi for the last 30 years and can tell you that this place is not safe to eat at. Also, they have terrible attitudes and are not friendly at all. I would recommend going to WOW sushi instead on Rochester Rd.

One of my favorite sushi places! They are one of the best!!! Ingredients are always fresh, the entire team is the kindest, sushi just melt at each bite you take. Ordered couple times here and was never disappointed. Their social media accounts are also soo helpful with deciding which roll you’d like to get.
