My wife and I have visited twice, now, since they opened last year. (Be warned, the older Google reviews are not for Oak Creek – I think they’re from the restaurant that was there before Oak Creek was built.) Last night, I ordered trout, and it was on par with any that I’ve had at restaurants costing three times as much. The sides (broccoli and summer squash) were also delicious. It was a fantastic meal. (“Fantastic,” at their low prices, was a pleasant surprise, and not something to expect every time. Every dish we’ve ordered, though, has been at least quite good.)
I also love craft beer, and their selection (while not stunning) has never led me to order wine. 🙂 Service was excellent and friendly. They have a cozy and casual atmosphere, and in warm weather, very pleasant outdoor dining. I plan to become a much more frequent customer.

Nice little place. Food was very good and prices were too. Seating was ample. It is a casual place that accommodates small to medium sized parties. Waitress was friendly and helpful- she got us our drinks and food in quick order. I enjoyed the meal and will be sure to frequent oak creek cafe.

Went here randomly because I drove by it and was hungry. Ended up really impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious food-wise. And their seasonal cocktail creations were awesome. Nice outdoor seating and plenty of room inside. If you haven’t been and want a good comfort food meal and a drink, go! Staff was very friendly as well.

Just had dinner here. I had the pot roast and was super happy! It was delicious! The service was very good and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Live music was setting up but we didn’t stay for it. Since we just moved to the area we will be back for sure!

We always forget how much we love this place. It is a great little bar and the food is fantastic. I have ordered something different every time I have gone in and never been disappointed. The staff are always relaxed and friendly even when it gets busy. I hope to see you here soon as we will be making this our go to restaurant for date night.

The food at the new Oak Creek Cafe’ (taking the place of the famous Leon’s)
is done perfectly and they are good sized portions.
I enjoyed the aroma of the newly built huge wooden porch on the front entrance.
We were very welcomed by everyone there and the service was fast and excellent. Everything was pleasant, clean, and had a great atmosphere.
They are still in the process of decorating
so it is exciting to see things as they progress.
The back room is more formal with a fire place and full table settings and table cloth, while the front room provides a more relaxed and family oriented atmosphere.
Children seemed welcomed.
There is a small bar between the two sections and they have made the tables in the front from decorative barrels which was fun to see.
The noise level in the back was kept to a minimum and appreciated; we could hear the others enjoying music in the front but it was not at all disturbing.
This is exactly the kind of place arbutus has been needing for its residents,
to have a place to spend our money and have it be so close to home too.
It is not overly formal just enough to feel treated well.
We came in the early afternoon and were still offered the choice of the full breakfast menu or the afternoon evening offerings.
The service could not have been more attentive, faster or pleasant.
Everything was wonderful.
The lighting and temperature of the place was just right as well (therefore, no cold drafts or overheating).
The 3 of us were completely satisfied with no complaints at all in any department.
We plan to make this a new regular outing for the future.

Great place. Awesome comfort food menu, including crab and shrimp entrees (it’s Maryland!). They accommodated our party of 23 with ten minutes’ notice. You can’t beat that. Very attentive, friendly service. Good beer selection. Highly recommended

I had the prime rib. Very flavorful but undered cooked a little. Asked for mid-well it was mid-rare in center. That was ok it was a nice size cut and took it to go. Baked potato was done well as were the green beans. To bad there was not a small salad or soup with dinner. It was a little pricey. (26.99) Overall a nice experience in small town dinner. I will go back!

I want to love this place because its steps from my house and I really hope they succeed but it needs work. The food isn’t reliable in quality. It’s never bad it’s just not at a level where I’d want to seek it out and pay for it. Overcooked, portions all over the place, subpar ingredients. The staff is very nice but typically slow or stretched thin, even when tables aren’t filled. This place desperately needs training and more help on hand. It’s a great location and cute on the inside and the personalities are there to make it succeed. I’ll keep returning hoping for better.
