Not real tex-mex. I had the nachos and the beef tasted like those frozen fajita bags from Walmart it didnt tast right on top of that once the waiter served us our drinks and food he disappeared never came back to top off out drinks. It took us longer to get our ticket to pay than it did waiting for our food. This place was way over priced for this type of food and service. We just got 2 nachos and 2 teas no refill it was 45.

The best part of the meal was the waitress, Emma. She was wonderful, attentive and very nice. Unfortunately, the food was awful. We wanted to like it. We really love the food at another restaurant owned by the same gentlemen….but this was just not good. The beans were watery and flavorless. The rice was bland. The sauce for the shrimp tacos tasted like mayo. And the beef fajita burrito was nothing but a tough burrito shell, the meat and some cheese. No bell pepper and onion to make it a fajita. We were really disappointed in the food. The decor is great and the staff is wonderful. However, if the food isn’t good, none of that matters.

Love this place! It is definitely different from other Mexican restaurants in Texas. Everything feels light and fresh. Service is beyond reproach, maybe the most consistent I’ve seen. Margaritas are fantastic! Love the queso, the shrimp tacos, the fajitas! Never had anything bad. The inside is super cute and always very clean and the backporch is great in good weather!

What a phenomenal experience!
Friendly service, great atmosphere, it appeared very clean.
The loaded queso was one of the best one’s I’ve ever tried, highly recommend.
I personally love quesabirria tacos, tried them, very good quantity and quality for the price.
The menu layout was easy to navigate and easy on the eyes.
They have a full bar and dessert menu that I didn’t try, but will next visit.

I had made a review about this place a year ago and I don’t know if they changed management or owners or what but it seems like it has gone down hill. Me and my husband came back because we assumed they still had brunch well they don’t anymore, we got there about a hour after they opened and there was only 2 servers we just stand by the front door for a while before anyone said anything then a waiter came up to us and sat us a 2 top table. Our waiter was nice but I had to repeat myself several times to him which I kind of got annoyed we got a queso and chips other than us there only 2 other tables taken and then another table came in so it was not that busy but our waiter took a while to take our food order. I ordered enchiladas verdes which is what is pictured and my husband got hatche chile verde burrito I think it was (not pictured) my husband said that it was not even spicy at all which he thought it was going to be. My enchiladas had way to much sour cream on top that the enchiladas itself were cold and I got a small side of rice which that’s why I put the chip there for comparison. The enchiladas also had like cubed chicken pieces in there instead of shredded chicken how it’s supposed to, I was just really really disappointed because we came for brunch that time and it was good and the food was delicious. I also included a picture of my silvaware that still had old food stuck to it I had to scrape it with my finger nail, if you are Mexican or Latino don’t come here cause you will be disappointed I think this is more “white people mexican food” or in other words Tex-Mex iykwim. I would rather drive a hour into Austin to find real authentic Mexican food than to dine at any of the so called “Mexican restaurants” in this town don’t waste your time or money at any of these places because they will disappoint you.

Service was impeccable with attentive staff that didn’t intrude as well as some of the best queso in town. I highly recommend the mojito from the bar. The cups are very cute with a great outdoor patio adding a fun atmosphere to the experience. The food was extremely good at a very affordable price point for the the quality of food. Seriously the best quesadilla in town. We really enjoyed ourselves

We stopped for dinner as we passed through on a road trip. The Rojo enchiladas were the best I’ve ever had! The top shelf margarita was great too. The staff is so friendly and it’s very clean. I’d come back if we are ever in town again!

Decent Mexican-style food, not Tex-Mex. Nice atmosphere. It recently changed to this new restaurant and they did a good job with the interior; nicely decorated. There is amassive outdoor seating area, but it was too cold when we went. If like to return in spring and eat outside.

Great Mexican food and great service.

I started off with a small creamy queso for their crispy chips. Also got the beer battered shrimp, which was crispy, huge, and delicious.

Ordered the El Pastor tacos. Great flavor and the pineapple really added some sweetness. Love that they make their own tortillas too.

The rice and beans are great…but probably could use more on my plate. Lol

Had the Tres Leches for dessert…yum!

I will be back with friends and family.

I’ll start off by saying there was plenty of parking, as we were the only ones here. No other patrons in the restaurant. It’s about as hot inside as it was outside. Chips were good and the salsa tasted like it came from a grocery store. Ordered the rojo and queso enchilada plates. Though after tasting the rojo I feel I should have gotten that instead lol it was good. Got water to drink as the prices on drinks was almost $5. Server was great. What there were more people here to enjoy the good.
