Well I’m seriously irritated I was craving some amazing Castenadas delicious Mexican food,went at 5 am because I was craving it so bad. Got there my friend and I couldn’t decide what we wanted so we took a few minutes to order but no one was behind us in the drive thru but the woman working was cleaning while taking order we could see her inside but she was extremely short spoken and audibly irritated and annoyed because she was busy wiping things down it was so unprofessional and rude but what was REALLY DISAPPOINTING the FOOD! I got a carne asada torta, this thing was sorry it was sad. Carne asada was like a cold quarter cup of unseasoned meat store bought imitation guacamole probably not even made with avocados and cheap romaine lettuce chunks. The bread cold and hard and stale. For $12 no fries even. Never going to this location again.

It is a typical Mexican fast food restaurant. Several times, during COVID-19 Lockdowns, I have ordered lunches for my family from this establishment. Every time, I have ordered, they were well prepared, and delicious. So, last year, during a visit to my relatives in High Desert, I have stopped at this establishment, to see the difference between delivery and dine-in. The service was prompt and courteous. The prices, too, were fair. At the same time, there was ample of space to sit down. Nevertheless, I would not recommend to dine-in. For, most of the tables were not clean, and the place was not neat. At the same time, they did not have a public restroom for customers to wash hands. Therefore, if anyone visits this establishment, I would recommend to order for take out or delivery. Of course, a lot might have changed, since I visited this establishment in August of 2023!

Serving sizes poor at best, going downhill fast…. Last draw for me. I will NOT return. They have taken their drinks off the combos. I hope it’s worth a 16oz drink that causes you to lose customers. I’ve spoken with a few who will not return due to these issues mentioned. Not to mention you plates you are now using drip and drain through the bottom… Good job… update… I said I wouldn’t return but here I am again. Idk how they got my order so wrong. Bean rice and cheese burrito but I get something called a “conga” burrito. 25$ for 2 of them. I even got home and realized they never gave me my large horchata. These restaurants are making it easy for us to not come back when stuff like this happens.

I ordered carne asada fries with guacamole. The slop I received was a watery residue of what is supposed to be “guacamole” burnt fries and more watery residue of what is supposed to be “sour cream”. Just gross no dignity in this place.

Dinner at Castenadas was great food was made correctly and fast. Went through the drivethru and was done in a flash. The Horchata was good also the size and quantity of food you get. I recommend this location for some good Mexican food.

I went to Casa’s because it’s closer to my house, although I was debating between Los Alazanes and Castanetas. I spent $19 on nachos and I added chicken once I received the nachos they hardly put any meat any sour cream and guacamole. You don’t get pico de gallo and hardly any cheese. My recommendation is to not order the nachos. I have ordered a Carne Asada burrito from there again I recommend going to Los Alazanes. Their prices are cheap cheaper and you get more bang for your buck and nachos are not $19 at Los alazanes. You get more for your money at another place plus you get to save more money. Would not recommend the food is kind of greasy anyways.
