Amoroso’s Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant located in the Old Avon Village plaza. It is in the former Hot Heaven location; it’s right by the gazebo and oversized rocking chair. The building is cute, it looks like an old house. The liquor store is right in the same building. There were plenty of parking spots when I went.
My family and I ordered takeout from there. Ordering online and picking up was seamless. We had their 6 pc house wings; I really enjoyed those, it was sweet and tangy. I am assuming it’s a mix of BBQ and buffalo.
We also had the small sweet and smokey pizza; this pizza had shredded mozzarella, bacon, fig jam, and ricotta cheese. We really enjoyed it; the sweetness from the fig jam and salty from the cheese and bacon, were a match made in heaven. There were so many other pizzas on their menu I wanted to try.
Inside was cozy, it appears you can dine in also. The service and employees were friendly. I will definitely order from them again!

The food is outstanding! I absolutely recommend trying
The renovations that were recently completed are beautiful and so welcoming.
You can BYOB, or you can order beer and wine there.
We had some focaccia bread with a meatball appetizer and of course had to try wings. So far absolutely impressed. The sauce with the meatballs was very flavorful and had a little spice but not overwhelming.
The wing sauce was their own homemade sauce that was sweet heat buffalo, not super spicy, flavor is perfect for everyone!
For meals we shares a new pizza special the just started, the ‘Sweet Hot Roma’ this pizza was bursting with flavor! And their pizza is also available in gluten free.
We also shared some house made gnocchi which was unlike any gnocchi I’ve had before. It was really light, and pillowy, definitely a must try dish.
The owner is the nicest guy, if this was in our hometown, I’d be ordering several times a week!

Amoroso’s pizzeria is the best. We’ve only ordered takeout and catering, but their interior is so cute.
They also saved the day! We had a surprise party planned, and the night before, our caterer canceled on us! We called Amoroso’s, and Jonathan came to our rescue! All of our guests raved about the food.

We tried a simple cheese pie but tossed on a little meatball on half of it. The crust was light and crisp and meatball extremely tasty!! We do like a saucy pie so we asked a side. We graciously received a ramekin of sauce and we were not charged extra for it. Very nice! Service was awesome- we had a nice dinner and will for sure be going back to try more menu items.

First time ordering and will not be coming back I ordered a couple slices which were okay but very small and I ordered pinwheels they were clearly not fresh like they took it out of the cooler and microwaved them for maybe a minute the inside of them were cold and raw. Had high expectations with all the positive reviews but I am very disappointed. Take pinwheels off menu before someone gets food poisoning plz

Cozy place with FANTASTIC NY style pizza and friendly service. Service was fast. Would definitely go again. Small area for table service, so you may want to call ahead on busy days/times.

Amoroso is soooooo good! The food is absolutely delicious and portions are great. We got the cajun chicken pizza, very unique and has so many amazing flavors. The wings were also 12/10. Delivery was timely and driver was very friendly. I can’t wait to try more from the menu and to visit in person!

I have only ever gotten takeout from Ameroso’s. I just picked up 48 buffalo wings last minute on Super Bowl Sunday. I got them well done and they are amazing! They are actually crispy. A soggy wing is a pet peeve of mine but Ameroso’s really did an excellent job with the wings. I would definitely get the wings again and need to try other food items on their menu because it’s rare I like wings in restaurants. 5 stars!!!
