This place is wildly good. Highly shocked. I didn’t expect it to be this good. Expected another fast food Chipotle. However, Caliente is better and more fresh then Chips and is on Baja’s fresh and authentic level. As Baja’s continue to grow you see some slips in authentic as they become so big. Caliente has great bowl combinations. Their chicken was Super Fresh in my favorite was refried beans over pinto beans. Big hit. And you can put fries in the bowl for less. It was clean and the service was good. And I loved the chips and salsa what’s a meal. It reminded me of another local place that used to give salsa and chips with your meal and then they took their salsa bar away. Silly move. Caliente doing it right. Try this place. Love it !

It’s tough getting fast genuine tacos in RI, and this place does a fantastic job considering the business they do and where the do it. The dining room is janky, but they make sure everything is accessible for your self service. Generally clean and organized. Much better quality of food than your typical Chipotle.

I really used to love ordering the birria tacos on door dash! I ordered a few times. Unfortunately this time I felt something really big and chewy. To my surprise this artery or vein looking piece came out of my mouth which completely ruined my appetite. I’ve never experienced anything like this before anywhere so I immediately called the restaurant. I sent pictures and they just kept making excuses saying well what kind of meat did you order after repeating myself that I just ordered the birria once the pictures were sent they told me “it must be a nerve or something from the cow”. I just hung up the phone with how careless they were. I’ve never in my life experienced this. I’m completely grossed out and I eat birria from a lot of different places and this never happened.

Excelente food .$25 per person is enough to have a very good diner . We order different dises and we are very happy with our order.
I love that they have only mexican music playing and are very colorful..
… I don’t mind paying 18% on tip on any restaurant. The only difference on this one is that you have to pick up your plates and clean the table .
And we pay the 18% anyway I think the employees deserved, but I think they should keep someone in charge to pick up the tables .. other things that you might want to do is let the employees use uniforms or t-shirts and hats with the restaurant name, I think, will step up to the next level ..
I will definitely caming back with more friends, and I will share this place on all my social media …

Came looking for traditional Mexican-style tacos and was not disappointed, but accidentally stumbled into some of the best birria I’ve had in my life. I was a bit apprehensive about the “assembly line” set-up of ordering, and while the temperature of the food could have been a bit hotter, the quality did not suffer, The chipotle chicken packed enough spice without being spicy, and the 007 tacos were something a little different, fun to try. But again, bypass the traditional tacos and order the birria. Tender, flavorful, and just seriously very good.

Great food! Excellent service! Everything is made fresh. There is not much open late in Cranston so we go right over the line and eat here. It’s very clean inside as well. Everyone is friendly and they have a big menu. Highly Recommended!

AUTHENTIC! If you are not going to be ordering from Mexico than order here. Best Mexican food we’ve ever had time after time . Every item has incredible unexpected flavors. Unexpected because no one else delivers Mexican food this fabulous! Large variety also makes it easy to enjoy for everyone. Great value for the money too.
