We were hungry when we happened to stumble upon Ginza while out shopping. We’re so glad we did!
You order at the counter then sit, but it’s basically a table service meal. The sushi had good presentation on their platters. They weren’t shy with the wasabi and ginger (much appreciated) and even brought a full tube of Yum Yum sauce with the meal.
We had 3 regular sushi rolls (for $15.99):
2 Philly Rolls: exactly what you’d expect and always a good go-to for us because it’s the kids favorite!
Dynamite Roll: Warm and gooey with eel sauce on top. A little spice but sooo good!
Buy 2 get 1 free Special rolls ($15.50 each):
Rainbow Roll: hubby and kids love
My My Mai: This is a meal in itself because they load it up! It’s so fresh and good!
Triple Tuna: I enjoyed the Thai sauce on top.
We also got a Combination Dinner with hibachi shrimp, Firecracker Roll and gyoza. The shrimp was super fresh and good sized with zucchini, broccoli, onions and carrots. The rice was decent but not the fried rice I was expecting with eggs and such in it.
For the 4 of us we left stuffed and with leftovers for another meal. The takeout containers were easily accessible and they were great about giving us what we needed to take sauces to go at no extra expense.

Got 2 orders of chicken fried rice and 2 orders of the dynamite roll because there was a buy 1 get 1 deal for each of these items on Uber Eats. The dynamite roll was sooo yummy, I’d get it again for sure. The Chicken fried rice was okay… the chicken is way too satly unfortunately.

Was looking for a new hibachi place and thought to try this one. Got the hibachi chicken and steak. The ingredients looked good quality and fresh. However there was no flavor in the meal overall. The rice was bland and there was no sauce or flavoring on the meat and vegetables. The chicken was the most seasoned. If you’re looking for a simpler hibachi, this is for you. I am more of a flavor person myself and will continue my search.

This really sucks, ordered the salmon bento bowl and break up my salmon. Guess what it’s MOLD in it. SC Dhec, here we come. Moved into a bowl on its own to show you how many pieces had mold on it. As a recovering person, from mold exposure I will be taking this to the upmost seriousness.

Super disconcerting and frankly gross to serve everything in take away containers. I really don’t want my hot food touching plastic. I came in alone during errands to have a nice sit down lunch and I’m eating out of three containers with lids sitting on the table. The food is good, it’s an absolute shame these people don’t care about the environment or ambiance.

Strip mall Japanese restraunt with glowing reviews by leaving patrons. That’s always a good start. Starting with a sushi roll and hibachi steak and shrimp. 40$ with tip. I chose an off the menu roll called the Nemo roll. Interesting that it is a Japanese run by Chinese. It’s so amazing to me how much more expensive good Asian food is in the states compared to Asia. Over all a very nicely Asian flavored meal. I could taste a bit of msg but I didn’t request no msg so no foul. A nice selection of veggies in the hibachi and a well made sushi roll. No complaints on the food preparation and the counter person spoke very good English. Overall a pleasant experience.

I have only ever gotten delivery. I’ve ordered many times, but I was hooked since the first order. The food is always hot n fresh, I live about 3 miles away and it gets here in 30 or less. I always get black widow roll and chicken hibachi. There is always enough chicken n rice n veg to have a second meal the next day. The food always microwaves well. I have never been even slightly disappointed with the food or delivery times. I highly recommend Ginza if you live in West Ashley and want outstanding delivery. Otherwise, I would definitely go dine in there as well.
