Good and tasty bakery items. Nice flavor in the cookies and scones. Coffee was good. Tried the avacado toast Joe style. Bacon was just right and hit the spot. Nice and simple menu with reasonable prices. Small but comfortable inside. Will definitely return to try more items. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parting and and outside patio area.

Cute place! The scone was delicious, and the coffee flight was a fun way to try out some flavors! My favorite was the rosemary latte, with a nice herbal taste without being overpowering. I love that they have house-made syrups available in addition to pre-made ones. Would love to re-visit!

Such a great coffee shop and I cannot believe I just found out about it! The place is super clean with a cozy, homey vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. There are plenty of choices on the menu, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The coffee is fantastic, and the food tastes fresh and homemade. On top of that, the staff is always so friendly and polite. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Adorable little eatery with a pleasant outdoor area for alfresco dining. The owners/ staff are super sweet and helpful. The food was great and I loved the fact that they have real butter and maple syrup! I got the coffee flight which was handmade with care and bettered those of far more expensive places. Cinnamon roll was crowded with fragrant cinnamon, butter and sugar and sooo delicious. My partner ordered the breakfast burger served on house made brioche. It was very filling and tasty. I found the prices to be very reasonable and it is clear that everything is made and served with love and care. I highly recommend.

We ordered the Canadian Style Poutine and the Grilled Turkey sandwich. Both were delicious. We arrived just after 11 and was able to try the omelet. Equally as delicious.
Definitely coming back after.

Had to try a new coffee place and it was splendid! I ordered an Iced latte Peppermint cheesecake and it was so delightful. The flavors mixed so well together while still being able to taste the espresso. The inside had a nice homie feel to it and was spacious enough to walk around and enjoy. The gentleman Parker was really nice and made my drink perfect. 🙂 Definitely coming back!

I’m posting after my second visit but also showing pictures from both visits. The omelette was a special that is probably on its way to being a regular menu item, and it was very good. The other plate is called “The Moose Is Loose” and it has a good variety of stuff. They also have coffee and baked goods for sale. It’s good quality food.

My first dining experience at Northern D’ Lights of Texas was a mixed one. The French toast lacked the rich, flavorful punch that I was expecting, and the eggs were similarly unremarkable. Both dishes left a lot to be desired in terms of seasoning and overall taste, making the meal less enjoyable than I had hoped.
Overall, Northern D’ Lights of Texas has potential, especially with its great customer service and reasonable prices. However, the food could use some improvement to match the quality of the dining experience. I hope they consider making some adjustments to their recipes to enhance the flavor, as I’d love to see this place thrive.

Great breakfast place with fantastic food, coffee and prices! The molasses cookies and Bumbleberry Cobbler were SO good! Then again, everything we had was good. The breakfast bowl, breakfast sandwich and French toast was a huge hit! Whether you drink your coffee black, or with all the syrups and cream, they’ll set you up! The coffee flight is definitely worth it. Take the time to try this place. It’s definitely going to be a regular place on our trips to this part of Texas!

My wife and I stopped by this eloquent establishment the other day. We were decently surprised to say the least at the quality of the food. Everything was delicious. The owner and the staff were all welcoming and easy to talk to. We will be going back in the near future.
