TLDR:
Just visit this place, you will not regret it! This place is one of the best places we’ve had in Maine and we’ve been to quite a few restaurants in the past 3 years visiting Maine. The service was exceptional as well, Liza was one of the nicest people we have meet in Maine and gave great recommendations. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

We have been to Portland, Bar Harbor and Brunswick. We’ve tried many places and out of them all I have to say hands down this is one of not the best spot we have had the pleasure of visiting.
My wife had a basket of Haddock and Scallops w/ fries. I ordered a basket w/ a shrimp roll and had a bowl of lobster stew. The fries were hot, crispy and soft on the inside. The Haddock was nice and tender on the inside while still being crispy. The lobster roll was fantastic! It had a great amount of lobster and the bread was crispy. The price was also good given the amount of food you get. The service was amazing, Liza was super nice and one of the nicest people in Maine we have had the pleasure of meeting. Honestly this was a gem of a find in Maine. We will definitely be back for more in the future!

Delicious homemade chowders!! The fisherman’s platter is awesome! Their scallops are the best I’ve ever had and I’m a Mainer! Super friendly and attentive to details like extra tartar, cocktail sauce
And extra crispy fries. Curmudgeons abound but this place is a huge hit!

I was in Maine for a reggae festival and my friend wanted some lobster, so we jumped in the car and rode through the scenic area along the water and there it was. Outdoor dining by the water. Really nice place. I’m a vegetarian so I just ordered a grilled cheese and fries. My friend ordered like a whole plate of clams and lobster. She destroyed it. I asked how it was and she said it’s difficult to mess up clams and lobster but the way it’s done in Maine is better. Lobster is a part of their culture. In fact on the way there and back we saw lobster traps on peoples front lawns. So it seems that the working waterfront people know their stuff and this place is a reflection on that excellence. The grilled cheese sandwich and the sweet potato fries were yummy also.

Delicious seafood in a casual, outdoor setting with an amazing view. Order at the window and pick up when your number is called, then eat at picnic tables in either the sunny area or covered area of the wharf. BYOB or purchase alcohol at the old general store next door. Fun place to meet friends. We usually get haddock sandwiches and onion rings, but changed it up with one Holbrook’s Cobb Salad with blackened shrimp, asparagus, avocado, and tomatoes over greens. Tasty and fresh. The haddock sandwich is smaller than in previous years, but still good. We’ll keep this on our list to get to at least once a season.

I practically grew up in Cundy’s Harbor along with my family (summers). Heck, I slept in a crib up the street. You can see our cottage right up the hill. I’ve had so many lobster rolls, clams, burgers, fries, onion rings…and last year I stopped in. What a wonderful legacy! I still remember buying candy from Christine. Keep it going folks!!

Absolutely loving Holbrook’s this year! The new management/ownership is doing an incredible job this summer. Everything is super fresh, sauces and dressings are all homemade and delicious, and the menu has both perfectly executed lobster shack standards and new, interesting options like great salads and wraps. Also the staff has been super friendly and professional. Kudos Holbrook’s!

Sweet spot for counter service grub including freshly steamed lobsters, steamers, and fried treats. This cool spot sits you on the deck where you’re perfectly situated for sunsets and great atmosphere. If you want to dine here as a group, you can BYOB to enjoy your food. Great alternative to enjoy good local seafood while still not breaking the bank!!!

The view and the atmosphere was very nice I ordered a clam basket with onion rings. I had 6 over cooked clams and the onion rings were tough. I did not care for the the tartar sauce, too much horse radish. My wife had blackened haddock sandwich w French fries.
The roll, the haddock and the French fries were fresh.
The blackened haddock was seasoned like Cajun, very spicy.
We left the place still hungry.

Good lunch spot with a great view! The prices are about average and the food portions are good. The onion rings are homemade- definitely suggest those! Did not have steamed lobster at lunch time.
