holy tourist pricing; $9 for a single scoop is genuinely criminal but its my bad for wandering into the most tourist-adjacent ice cream shop in seal beach. i came for the seasonal boo batter but it tasted like sweet nothing.. so i pivoted to the blueberry muffin batter, delivering that classic “muffin crumb” hit in a light, creamy vanilla-ish base. i did go at night, so the employee just radiated depression and apathy it was worth the one-time curiosity, but absolutely a never-again spot

Overpriced ice cream, $8.99 for medium cup plus $1.50 per topping. I only added two toppings, strawberries and oreos and the girl put a very small portion of both toppings and didn’t mix it well. My ice had whole chunks of two frozen strawberries. I only went because I had a gift card I had since probably 2012, and needed to use it, the total was $22.00 for two medium cups and two toppings, such a rip off. I’m never going there again, also the young girl working there didn’t seem happy. The only thing I liked was it had about 6 sorbet flavors and a Silk chocolate almond dairy free flavor which is great for me because I’m a vegan. There’s another ice cream shop down the street that has great looking Gelato ice cream with delicious looking plant based dairy free options, I’ll go there next time.

After walking around and on the pier, we stopped for some ice cream. The young lady working here was so patient, friendly and attentive to our dietary restrictions. She mixed our added toppings and’s gave us delicious ice cream. She even walked over to our family member with disabilities and gave her the ice cream directly. The employee didn’t dismiss or ignore our family member, which makes a huge impact to our entire family. It was a beautiful moment. The only bad part was that it’s quite warm in this facility and your ice cream starts to melt quick.

Today I went with my husband to this store and were testing some flavours to decide. I felt the girl who was serving us was pushing us to hurry deciding, and it was not that busy.
I wanted make my own Afocato cup( which is when you add espresso to ice cream), and because they didn’t have this option I decided to the flavour I wanted and took it and told my husband to get his and will meet at the pier. The girl was still asking him to decide, I know he takes his time to figure it out, but it was not that long. Long story short, I went to the coffee shop next door to order espresso and add it to the ice cream to create my own Afocato cup. Then went to meet him at the pier and saw him holding the waffle ice cream cone but it was EMPTY. I really was surprised and asked what happened? Where is the ice cream? Why the cone is empty.? He said with sadness in his eyes, she didn’t put any and just gave it empty… she didn’t listen to what I wanted so he left without arguing. Honestly I didn’t know why he didn’t tell her, but I believe she was pushing him to decide and didn’t listen what he decided on. I mean, why would one go to ice cream shop just to have an empty waffle cone ??? She didn’t even bother to make sure he needed only empty one but rather pushed him to get over it. She was not patient or polite at all.
I don’t think we are going back to this store any more.

I got coconut yogurt and it was delicious and not too sweet! Perfect for me.
They have a couple seats inside and outside.

I love Cold Stone and have no complaints with the quality or customer service at this location, but the prices are outrageous! About $10 for a single scoop of ice cream.

This place is such a rip off. $7.99 plus $1.00 for the sugar cone and you get what is basically a half scoop of ice cream. The ice cream barely covered the top of the cone. We asked if it was the correct amount for a scoop and the girl just shook her head yes. $37.00 later for 2 cones and 2 one scoop cups of ice cream. Biggest rip off ever. Try the other ice cream places within walking distance, much better values.

Way too expensive for ice cream – only went because we had an giftcard. Out of the 4 items we got – 2 we didn’t like. $50 for dessert 4 items is not reasonable. Girls were nice and nothing to do with costumer service – all about price and quality.
