Food – very good. Think, thin, crispy crust Calzone (air fried), freshly made, and customers free toppings. I just had mone no toppings, very good and took half of an regular home, so did she.
Basic iceberg salad, good but basic. Need to have Honey Mustard dressing and salt and pepper added to menu.
$7.99 to $9.99 regular size that is huge.
Right off I-80 by the new Costco, easy hop off-on if coming back from Tahoe.
Nottys is tucked into a brand newish shopping center.
It is small inside with the red and white tiles with the out facing neon signs.
The cute winky character in the corner leads to perhaps a fun and happening place.
The employees tried! I asked about the meal combo and was met with a manager’s comment, it’s a side salad now not gelato. I wanted geltato!
I got a custom jalapeño and pineapple burrito and my friend got the chicken bacon ranch.
I got to bites in and he was done (aka it was good).
The employee did forget my salad dressing for salaobut gave us dipping sauce.
I’d go back but not right away!
(Sauce made in house)
I will note that if you dine in, they put it in a basket and tray liner. the basket liner gets soggy and breaks apart. You kind of have to be aware about not eating a piece of deli wrap. The food also took a bit longer than you would expect for a fast casual restaurant.
Other than that, the food tasted great with exceptional customer service.
Let’s start with the side salad. It was just iceberg lettuce, probably a teaspoon of chopped tomatoes, carrots, and black olives. There was literally 4 shreds of cheese on it. I wish I took a pick since it was so ridiculous. Lastly, they give this super thick Italian style dressing that you have to pour on the salad. It was so cold and thick that it globbed all on a few leaves. Even after shaking it, only the top few leaves had any dressing and the last 2/3rds of the salad were just leaves with no dressing. It mostly went into the garbage because who like eating plain iceberg lettuce with almost nothing else?
Now for the insanely disappointing part. Reminder; this is a sandwich I paid for “double meat.” There was only 1 small slice of ham in this hollow sandwich. The only piece of ham I got was in the center. Again, I paid for double meat and got one single slice of ham! I was ripped off! See the picks for yourself. I will never return.
