The food was disappointing. It’s promoted as Mexican but the food was not authentic. I got the molletes (3/10) , the bread was too soft, the pico wasn’t fresh and the cheese wasn’t melted. The chilaquiles (5/10) were thick and stuffed with cheese but all you could taste was the oil. The hot chocolate was ok, and the coffee tasted like instant coffee. The girls were not attentive. We spent $50, not worth it in our opinion.

Response:
You may not know this, but even in CDMX they melt the cheese (that’s what a mollete is). They may add fresh cheese but on top with the pico. Maybe that’s just how you make them here. Either way my bread was soft. It was literally just a piece of soft bread with a smear of canned beans, pico, and asada. In regards to the enchiladas, I know they’re hand made with masa, my comment was that they just tasted like oil. I’m sure it’s not instant coffee as it is a COFFE SHOP, but my comment was that it DID taste like it. This was just my personal review, I’m sure there’s some people out there who might enjoy it. Thanks for your feedback!

Best iced horchata-latte I’ve ever had, it’s like an arroz con leche milkshake. We stopped in for brunch on Saturday and though it was full we were able to sit outside on a cool day. we both ordered chilaquiles, mine with birria and his was a torta de chilaquiles with salsa verde. It was spicy and delicious. The cafe de olla and warmed strawberry concha was delicious. I highly recommend trying out this café.

French toast concha was fluffy and delicious. Hot chocolate was nicely spiked with cinnamon. Torta was huuuge with tender steak and crispy chilaquiles.

After seeing all of social media hype around this place, we were enthused to try it out for ourselves. While they have a great variety of options and fantastic portion sizes, the visually appealing food did disappoint due to a pointed lack of flavor. Also, unfortunately, the Tres Leches could have been more flavorful and was not cold. Overall, the experience was nice and cozy, but the food did disappoint.

Overall a very pleasant experience. We wanted to try it out for our anniversary. My husband ordered chilaquiles and I got crepes con fruta. He got a horchata latte and I got caramel latte. Everything was delicious. Just very big portions. Next time we are going to share the chilaquiles. The service was fantastic, everyone was friendly. The atmosphere was calming and peaceful. It was on the pricier side.

Amazing food and great service!! Tried the Birria Chilaquiles (pic below) and the Shrimp Chilaquiles and the sauce was soo good. Their Tacos al Vapor are also very authentic tasting and my favorite go to meal. I always comeback for more and love bringing family and friends. This place is a must visit!!
