We tried Buttermilk Cafe for the first time a couple of months ago and had a good experience overall. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly busy, but there were still a few tables open so we were able to get seated. The space is a bit tight, but it’s clearly a popular spot with a steady flow of customers coming in.
I always enjoying trying biscuits and gravy at new places, and these were really good. You could tell the biscuits were made fresh. The chicken and waffles were also tasty and came out hot, and my husband really enjoyed the meat skillet he ordered, which had great flavor.
The customer service was great. Our waitress was kind, helpful, and accommodating.
The restroom is located just off the dining area, so the placement of that is a little bit off. It is really cute though I love how they redid the bar area for the kitchen is.
The restaurant sits inside a building with a long hallway and other small businesses, which was actually a cute area to walk through.
Overall, it was a solid breakfast spot, and we would definitely return for breakfast again!

Had a hankering for some biscuits and gravy this morning and I thought of the Buttermilk Cafe, since I had been intending on giving them a try. The cafe is in the same building as some other businesses, but very easy to just walk into from the convenient parking lot. I was greeted by one of the ladies that told me to seat myself anywhere I wanted. A menu was brought right out and I was informed about the specials that were posted on a wall near by. I ordered coffee to sip on while I looked the menu over. I must say that their coffee was very good, in fact the best tasting of my complete meal. I ordered half order of biscuits and gravy, two scrambled eggs and American fries. My meal was brought out promptly. The American fries weren’t anything like what I expected. Small cubed, what I think were from a bag of frozen potatoes. Lot of them, but flavorless. My two eggs seemed to be very small in my opinion. They weren’t burnt anyway, but nothing special. Lots of gravey on my biscuits, but bland and no sausage pieces in the mix, but the menu just said gravy and not sausage gravy. My biscuits were pretty thin and thus nothing special. I’ll stick with Woody’s in Groveland for my biscuits and gravy, etc. I must say I did like their salt and pepper shakers and the delicious coffee. The ladies and atmosphere was inviting. Evidents a lot of locals dine here and are happy to have this cafe and I’m sure the ladies are happy that they continue to patronize their business.

This is a cute little place with a lot of options. We ordered a few different items on the menu, but the 2 times we’ve been in, they have run out of fries!! And the fries are REALLY good!
We ordered an omelet, a chicken fajita skillet, a Buffalo chicken burger, cheese burger, oatmeal, cheese curds, onion rings, and more. They have Pepsi products.
The food was all delicious. We enjoyed our experience. The place was packed and a little crowded. So it was loud in there and hard to hold a conversation.
There is plenty of parking. I would say there is an area that an RV could park in.

Delicious food. Glad we chose to try somewhere new and it did not disappoint. The omelettes are 10/10. So thick and fluffy and full of flavor. Can’t wait to try more from their menu
We have come back many many times, and it is always a great experience. We love the food and love the staff.

Wow absolutely the worst experience my husband and I have ever experienced. Starting off there was a wait and we were told 10min, we waited for 30min to be seated. After being seated we waited 10min to get a menu and then after we gave our order, 4 other couples sat after us about 15min after. They all recieved their food first, ate, got their check, and left. We were waiting for an hour for pancakes and eggs, I’m guessing they forgot to put our order in. After an uncomfortable wait, we finally received our meal that in the nicest way possible, was mid. We have never experienced anything like this. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great service and food! They have a lot of options to choose from. The sausage gravy is house made (very good)! I had the eggs Benedict, one of the best I’ve ever had, the English muffin is uniquely different, sauce perfect and great ham! Had a bite of the husbands pancake, WOW!!!

Country Skillet with country fried steak was delicious! So many good things on the menu I’d love to try, will be back soon! Came on a Sunday morning around 9:00 for breakfast and super busy, all the tables were filled and a short 10-15 minute wait. The hashbrowns here are incredible and I’d say they’re the best I’ve had. My gf had an omelette with bacon and feta cheese and said it was the best omelette she’s ever had. Next time I’m trying the pancakes!! Saw lots of delicious looking pancakes being served to other guests and I have to try those. Pretty sure you won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu here!
