I ordered a catfish basket to go. It had 4 large pieces of fish and a ton of Cajun fries (not too spicy). Definitely a deal for the price. I’m a big eater, but next time I know to get the lunch special instead. My only negative was that the catfish was a bit more fishy tasting than usual for a freshwater fish. Maybe cooked together with other seafood? Might be a turnoff for some diners.

This place was a pleasant surprise. It does not look like much on the outside. The food was good. The restaurant was clean including the restrooms. The lady working the dining room was friendly and refilled our drinks in a timely matter. I would eat hear again.

Such a wonderful place, and an absolute must!! My husband and I stopped by during our vacation to Wilmington. He is native to the gulf of Mexico, and has had a lot of seafood- he said Michaels is some of the best he’s ever had. Our server was absolutely wonderful & everything was quick and easy. When people ask about our vacation, Michael’s is one of the first things we mention. It’s been about 2 weeks and we won’t shut up about it lol. Please support this incredible restaurant! 🙂

My first time having a seafood boil and now I understand the hype. The flavors were incredible, she put a ton of garlic in the “juicy” sauce which I love. She also gave us cute bibs with a crab on them.

I wish I had taken pictures of our food because it was really good. Definitely a no frills place, but the service and food quality was top notch. My family tried everything from wings, fish, and the oriental dishes. All were very tasty! We had enough to take home for leftovers. Prices are very reasonable! Definitely recommend and will be back!
