A friend of mine saw an old reel on this place and it’s been somewhere she wanted to check out for some time now. The vibes of the place feels like you stepped into somewhere local, not somewhere crazy upscale, feels like some place that mainly locals would know about. The waiter was really nice, but there were many items on the menu not available; he said they were in the process of changing management? No crispy pork belly or bbq roast pork, etc. We had the lotus leaf rice, the lychee panang duck (?), two thai iced teas. He also recommended us the banana blossom dish and said it was a popular dish of theirs. The food was okay. Portions aren’t big. Price for the portion size feels higher than some of the other thai places I have been to in manhattan or queens. The lotus leaf dish and ingredients reminds me of a canton dish I’ve had at dimsum before. Overall, it was okay and a great place to experience, try, and cross off our list of places to try.

A quaint and cozy thai restaurant in the middle of Astoria. The food felt very authentic although I’ve never actually been to thailand so take it with a grain of salt. My fiance and I love thai food and this one hit a little different in a good way. Maybe different regional taste? The first dish that was recommended by the waiter is the fried banana blossom. I used to have bananas in my backyard and always saw these flowers, never thought about cooking them though. It had the surprising texture and somewhat taste of fried chicken, a great vegan option. We also had the lunch menu combo which came with chicken dumplings, drunken noodles and a taro dessert which was all delicious. My fiance got the khao soi gai which was our favorite dish. Definitely give this place a try!

Truly a hidden gem!! Came for a casual dinner, but the food was so flavorful and delicious at such an amazinggg price point. Recently came back from Thailand, and this place is authentic Thai flavors, kindness, and service! Tried the panang curry and the kui chai chive pancakes. So excited to come back and try more dishes! Definitely became my new favorite Thai spot in the neighborhood, and can’t believe more people haven’t discovered this place yet!

I’ve never been so excited to discover a new Thai restaurant. This came as a recommendation to me and I was looking forward to try but managed my expectations a bit because my bar for Thai food is sky high (having traveled to Thailand more than 3 times now just to eat and also took 3 culinary courses!).
Finally placed my order for delivery and my initial verdict is it’s fantastic. Pad Thai (with Chicken) was excellent and not doused in sweetness which is what other restaurants do sometimes. Panang Curry Beef was so tender and they made it Thai spicy per my request. I know how to make this and their version is a winner! Also ordered the 4 pork skewers and it’s such a steal for $10. Perfect with the sauce to dip it in.
Fantastic prices and portions so far. Please keep it that way! Looking forward to dine in soon to get a feel of the actual restaurant’s vibe, warmth and service, plus I have my eye on other dishes such as Crispy Pork Belly stir fried w/ Basil, Mango Sticky rice, and Thai iced tea of course! Really impressed with my first order tonight and hope to be wowed more in person soon to round this up to 5 stars! 🙂

Came here on a weekday for lunch and was impressed by the great lunch specials—one appetizer, one main, and a dessert. Decent portion and the price point is good given I could sample a few items. The food was delicious, with thoughtful attention to flavor and texture. The rice was especially fragrant and fresh. Service was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

I am obsessed with this place!!!! Genuinely my favorite Thai spot ever. The food is really reasonably priced, holds up perfectly as takeout, and the lunch special with an appetizer and dessert is such an incredible value. It’s a chill dine-in experience too, really nice for a casual date night. And the staff are so kind. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Great food and very cute place! I got the Pad See Ew and my sister got the khao soi gai, both were great, but hers was a little spicy so just beware. Hope they stay around for awhile.

Everything was so freshly made here and each item was delicious! The lunch special offers an appetizer, main dish and dessert and there’s a carafe of lemon water on your table as well.

I had the chicken pad see ew and it was great: crunchy Chinese broccoli, the chicken was flavored very well and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The scallion pancake appetizer was so yummy (again, super fresh). And the dessert was a sweet rice cake and I don’t typically like rice cakes but this one was so enjoyable. I ate every last bite.

I can’t necessarily speak to the atmosphere because I was one of two people there for an early lunch, but the service was spectacular. The gentleman who brought my food was very attentive and kind.

The interior of the space is so unique and I love what they did with the distressed brick walls and exterior colors and traditional look. Even the plates that they use to serve food are super cute.

There’s also an 8-seat high-top in the back that I hope to sit at for my next Book Club meeting. I’d highly recommend this place for a quaint and delicious meal in a beautifully serene part of Astoria.

Tried their Lotus leaf wrapped rice, stuffed with seafood and sausage. It’s something that I’ve never had before. It’s so flavourful and tasty! A dish that would definitely surprise your taste buds! I believe it’s the only Thai restaurant in NYC that’s offering this!

Another unique highlight is the Banana Blossom Fritters. They’re crunchy, and to give it a kick, it’s served with a spicy sauce that will leave you wanting more. Overall, unique and delectable dishes!

This place quickly became one of our favorite restaurants in Astoria. I was drawn to the beautiful interior, reminiscent of those I’ve seen in Thailand. We came at lunchtime and were greeted with friendly customer service. They offer a lunch menu that includes an appetizer and dessert of the day. Everything was so delicious! We ordered the Kaeng Khiao Wan (creamy green curry) and Phat Kaphrao (minced meat with basil over rice), both spicy and flavorful. I look forward to returning to try more dishes!
