I ordered the build-your-own bowl with a half-and-half base of vermicelli and salad, topped with grilled beef, green onions, carrots, cucumber, and cilantro. Everything tasted vibrant and well-balanced, especially with the side of fish sauce adding the perfect sweet-salty finish.
The bánh mì with grilled pork was equally satisfying—juicy pork, crisp vegetables, and their standout special aioli coming together for a rich yet refreshing bite. The bread deserves special mention: light, flaky, and perfectly crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, making every bite irresistible.
I love being able to choose exactly what goes into my meal, making it easy to tailor each dish to my taste. Fresh, flavorful, and customizable, Sizzle & Crunch is a welcome addition to Southcenter and well worth a visit.
The counter staff were friendly and Everything came out quickly and looked delicious.
Standout dish was the BBQ Special Banh Mi (highly recommend!). It combines grilled pork and crispy pork belly—super tender, juicy, and packed with that addictive char-grilled flavor. The baguette was soft yet crusty, perfectly balancing the crunchy quick-pickled carrots and daikon, heaps of fresh cilantro, jalapeño (opted not to
add this time) and a fried egg that added richness. Every bite had great contrast in textures and bright, balanced flavors.
The grilled chicken version was solid too—well-seasoned and juicy.
Portions were generous for the price, and everything tasted fresh. My mom and I both cleaned our plates and left happy.
Clean spot, good value, and authentic-tasting Vietnamese sandwiches in a mall setting—definitely going back next time we’re craving banh mi. 5 stars!
I ordered a beef dish, and the meat had a very strong and distinct smell of cow manure. I have never encountered anything like this in my life. I am confident this was not due to seasoning or spices — I know very well what cow manure smells like, and this was unmistakable. It strongly suggests that the meat may have been spoiled but was cooked and served anyway.
This establishment requires an immediate and thorough inspection.

Gloves only work if you change them, but she touched EVERYTHING behind that counter while touching all the meats with those gloves. I can see why I got food poisoning last time, it’s how I would have gotten it again this time. Toss, ️
Food tasted great. I ordered a half rice and salad beef bowl. The meat had no char on it which is the best part of Vietnamese grilled meat and that could be from how there are mounds of meat on the grill at a time. The meat was poorly chopped I had bits and big chunks that were tough to chew through. The beef has a lot of fatty chunks that were unappetizing and hard to swallow. Granted the flavors were great and I would come back again in hopes that the quality is better.
