We both ordered the green chile cheeseburger, and wow — this thing is no joke. Freshly grilled and stacked high with lettuce, tomato, dill pickle, mayo, mustard, and ketchup on a toasted sesame seed bun. The green chile had just the right kick for this gringo — flavorful, warm, and satisfying without melting my tongue. A REAL chile eater might want more heat, but for me it was perfect.
What really sets this burger apart is the size. It’s not just big… it’s ginormous. Easily the size of a salad plate. You see it coming and instantly know you’re in for something special.
I added green chile cheese fries, and she went with regular fries, both solid, classic diner‑style sides that hit the spot.

So good! The place is small but it was, and the food was real, the tortas telera was soft as just made, the tacos were just the right size and the salsa roja was delociosa. I enjoyed the fries and the chile toreado that came with the tortas too. The price was good, and the service was friendly and efficient.

I want to keep this place a secret, but it’s too good not to share it with you.
If you haven’t tried La Loteria yet, you are missing out. Carla and the team at this place have it figured out. You suddenly crave tacos and think of chains like Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Taco Cabana… No. Drive another few blocks and go here because you will get way better food and service and save time and money you would have wasted on trash-tasting tacos. You deserve this!

These guys have online ordering, and with a few button clicks, you can choose your meals and drinks, add what you want more of, or take away whatever you don’t want. It’s super easy. Pay online and show up a few minutes later to pick up Hot, Fresh, and Delicious food for a fraction of the cost elsewhere.
Maybe you’re not in the mood for tacos (is that even a thing?). They have a whole selection of Burgers, Tortas, and Burritos to choose from. Again, you can customize it however you like. They are going to get it right, and you’ll be so happy and full.
They give you generous portions, too.
Online orders stop at 8 p.m., but don’t worry—you can still place your order in person at La Loteria. You won’t have a long wait time because they have this down to a science!
I couldn’t figure out why there wasn’t a line out the door at this place; there should be; it’s That Good!
There’s no line because they are skilled at getting the food out to their customers fast so they can enjoy their meal and their lives. You aren’t waiting around in line like other places, wishing they’d hurry up.
