DINE IN IS FASTER NOT DRIVE THRU
THERE WILL BE WAIT TIMES AND LINES .

WHAT!!! Omg!!! I finally got to experience the first Jack in the Box location in Florida and it was definitely an adventure worth talking about.

I’m not exactly sure when it officially opened, but I found out about it through Instagram and decided to drive down and see what the hype was about. I showed up at the perfect time because cops were still out directing traffic, so I just barely missed the absolute madness from earlier. When I walked in, I only had to stand for about five minutes, but within seconds the line behind me grew like crazy.

I travel to the West Coast pretty often and I’ve always loved Jack in the Box whenever I’m out there, so getting one here felt like a little piece of my travel memories landing in Florida. Since it was only a few days after their soft opening, the full menu wasn’t available yet and sadly they were out of egg rolls. It’s okay though, because I still got one of my favorites, the mini tacos, and they definitely hit the spot. Pro tip: make sure you grab hot sauce because it makes them even better.

What really stood out to me was the staff. Despite how busy and chaotic it was, they were amazing. One employee even came over to greet us personally and was super friendly, which honestly made the whole experience feel welcoming even with a few rude customers around.

Overall, for such a new location still getting on its feet, they handled the rush really well. I’m excited to go back once the full menu is available and things settle down a bit.

Visited today 3/8/26. They have a guy standing in the parking lot not sure why when they have cones everywhere, he is just there. The parking lot and drive through are a mess, there was an accident while I was there. They have doors designated for entry only and exit only by way of paper signs. They have a guy at the door only letting so many people in and he half wipes off the tables, going from one to the other with the same cloth not cleaning it in-between (nasty). They have 1 lady handing out menus and running meals of which I didn’t understand the order because people that came in after me got their food before me. They have 1 lady working the cash register taking orders. With this there was a 20 to 25 minute wait just to get cold food. I got the BYO Munchie meal with ultimate cheeseburger, tacos, fries and drink. Figured this was best since between the parking and wait time, I knew I wouldn’t be back. The burger and fries were just ok. The taco was trash. The taco has a cheese slice, guess to save money and use what they use on burgers instead of buying shredded cheese. I think the meat was a burger pattie not sure. They already have I’m assuming sauce on the taco, which I would prefer they didn’t add up front. They need to look at Chick-fil-A because no matter how busy they are and the line can be around the building, Chick-fil-A gets people through their drive through and lobby expeditiously. I think if the food was hot it would have been better but I would not return based on the parking lot/drive through situation alone.

This place is needed!!! We went 2/22/26, and they are still newly opened, so the lines were absolutely insane, and file going through drive through and inside were ordering super large amounts of stuff, like 20 tacos or egg rolls. So the wait was 1:25 to actually get food. Drive thru folks were told to go over to win Dixie and wait in cute over there

Anyhow. Food is just as I remember it. The place was clean, and staff courteous.

First of all this is my first impression on a “just opened ” establishment. 1) Training. The crew members may not be able to handle these large amounts of customers. They have to get their speed increased. 30-45 min wait time for dine-in. Over an hour in drive thru. I can say that they were smart to disable online orders. The food arrived cold to inedible fries. Will try again next month and see if there’s a change.

I ordered the #4 Smash Burger. However there was no lettuce, tomatoes or other ingredients. In fact it might have not been my order!

Brought just a breakfast sandwich, i figured since i work next door it be quick nope. Spent 15min in drive thru behind 3 cars, to get my food cold. You can tell the food been sitting there, Its basic breakfast food was not expecting for my food to be cold tho. First time at Jack in the Box & I think it might be the last. Not sure yet.

Jack in the Box is finally in here, The food was awesome — fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the wait. Right now, expect long lines and slower service due to the grand opening crowds. It’s understandable with all the hype. Once they get everything down over the next few weeks, it should run much smoother. I’ll definitely be back once things settle in.

This past Sunday, we drove over 40 minutes and then waited over two hours to get food. The food was great, but the way that they couldn’t keep up with orders and people were waiting for so long was a bit ridiculous. Hoping that it gets better in the next few months. I was happy to finally get to try it though.

At long last, Jack In The Box is in Central Florida. The team here is doing an amazing job handling the demand of crowds, and as more of these open in the area, demand should go down reducing wait times. For now though, expect long drive through lines. I waited to dine in and that was the better move. I was inside and ordered within 20 minutes, and had my food in about 15 minutes. For how much demand they have right now, thats honestly not bad. Staff is present, in good spirits and handling whats being thrown at them. Food is your typical Jack In The Box food, don’t expect anything crazy different if you’ve had it before, but it is good! I recommend the munchie meal. For $11, its the best bang for your buck here! Also for the newbies, dont sleep on the tacos. Yes, they’re simple and they’re nowhere near authentic, but they scratch a very specific itch and are a fantastic value.

So happy this place finally opened! I was lucky to attend a private event/soft opening a few days ago and got to try them out.

But today on opening day it was MADNESS (as expected.) Anybody who doesn’t understand that and is complaining, should never go out in public. Anyway, onto the review….

Due to the limited parking lot size/drive thru space, I skipped drive thru altogether (I knew this would be a concern.) After heading inside, the place was packed wall to wall. I got lucky because I made it straight to the register, then a big line formed after me.

It seems as if they don’t have the entire menu yet (no jalapeño poppers.) But considering how busy it was, the wait wasn’t terrible. I took the survey on the receipt from the soft opening and presented it for a BOGO coupon, and they couldn’t figure out how to ring it up, so they just knocked some money off my purchase. So FYI if you decide to do that.

Also, the app doesn’t recognize the location yet, nor allows orders through the app. However, you can accumulate points from scanning the receipt. Employees were very friendly and were doing the best they could and staying level headed considering the crazy grand opening circumstances. Food was fresh and delicious.

All in all, incredible (second technically) experience and I can’t wait to go back again to try more items. If you can’t stand to wait or the chaos involved with them being new, I’d say stay home for about a month.

The store is new and they were well organized for the crowds. We ordered a double check, mixes and 4 tacos for $13. The burger was tasty, the mixes were fine. The tacos, well you get what you pay for. Not alot of meat. Mostly lettuce.
