This is THE place to go for great BBQ. The chicken good, the ribs great, and the pulled pork amazing. It’s low on ambiance in general, but some tables on the riverside are nicer. We had dinner as well as the Sunday buffet breakfast. The breakfast was $25 and pretty basic, but I did like my “made-to-order” omelette. You have to ask for orange juice and you have to ask for a plastic cup for the soft drinks/lemonade/iced tea. Overall, the best part is definitely the BBQ food!

First day in the area, no toilet paper in the poorly signed restrooms.
Day 2 breakfast! The website says they’re closed and the other restaurant is open. Fun fact, they don’t update their website often.
$25 per person for buffet cafeteria breakfast. They gave us 3 small plates (7 inch size I believe) for the 2 of us. The diet soda and the zero soda were out. I asked the employee about it and she acted as though she try to get it rectified. 30 minutes later I asked again and she said I don’t know that we have any. Photo included is how busy they were when I asked that. An employee checking food, a person with me, and no guests at the moment but they couldn’t check and really just do not care. The tea machine was also broken. And eventually someone brought out a large thing of dark liquor, unlabeled.
You pay too much for this stay to get repeated poor service.
The food was edible and fine but certainly not worth the price.

Smokehouse on the River was excellent! The BBQ was flavorful, tender, and cooked just right, with generous portions all around. The riverside setting adds a great laid-back vibe, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot to enjoy good food and relax — highly recommend!

Cool little barbeque place right on a leg of the Kissimmee River. Service is extremely quick and the views from the dining area are very nice. Just outside of the dining area is the River Ranch Marina where you can book airboat rides.
Good BBQ is pretty hard to come by in Florida, and this place is definitely above average! Three brisket isn’t dry, which is a problem I see again and again in this state, and the burnt ends were great! I also really enjoyed the ribs.
I definitely recommend the cole slaw, if that’s your thing, as far as sides go. The baked beans are very good as well, and so is the potato salad. Overall, we all really enjoyed our meal!
Pro Tip: Not every beer available is listed on the kiosk menu. Ask a server if you want something else. I had a really good double IPA (called Dad Bod) from Three Daughters! As far as I can tell, it’s the only place at the resort with legitimate craft beer.

This Smokehouse offers a scenic dining experience with delicious BBQ. The brisket and burnt ends was a standout, and the service was friendly. The location on the river provides a relaxing atmosphere. It’s worth a visit if you’re looking for good food and a nice view. The ordering experience was very quick. (Disappointing lack of vegetarian choices, though.)

Food was served cold because the employees were more concerned about cleaning up and doing end shift duties. Never received my kids milk that came with their meals or cup for my drink. Yummy food but sure do wish we had a better experience for my birthday.

We ordered the 3 meats and 2 sides along with the wedge salad. The wedge salad had the bare minimum toppings of tomatoes, dressing and blue cheese. The ribs were extremely fatty and the brisket was super dry. We went in a Sunday around 4 pm and we were the only diners. This restaurant has a lot of potential but unfortunately I was overall displeased with the food turnout.

Nice little smokehouse located on westgate riber ranch property. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. We did have to wait about 20 mins for a table on a Friday night but that was not worries to us. We all enjoyed out appetizers of gator tail and wings while we waited for our meal! My husband and i got the ribeye which was great and the kids all enjoyed their kids menu items. This was our first time here and they were definitely understaffed… But who isnt right now!!! Regardless the service was amazing and Heather took great care of us! Amazing work team!!! We will definitely be back!!!!!
