First off, the service was outstanding. Perfectly paced from the drink/appetizer order to our entree. Our waiter was very professional, prompt and engaging. The presentation was unexpected, it was beautiful. The atmosphere was great! Quiet, dimly lit with colorful decorations. 10/10 would recommend!

Today, 2/22/25, we went to La Casita for an early dinner, we wanted to beat the rush. We had heard great things about this new place and wanted to see for ourselves. Started off with chips and salsa, the salsa was mediocre but we sampled some of the other dips and wow they were awesome! I had the steak/shrimp with onion and mushrooms with a cheese sauce, it was very good. I loved the char and grill taste on the main dish. We also got the chicken/shrimp with a bit more spicy sauce which was great as well. For dessert we got the sopapilla which were very good! The medium size frozen margarita was huge and great! Our server did an excellent job and we were not rushed and he was very attentive! Great job Sergio!

It such a cozy and homey place. Food here, is flavorful, filling, and delicious . I love their fajitas, they are spot on, soo good. I tried their salmon as well, very tasty. And of course their salsa and chips are super good. Servers are sweet and polite. Definitely a great place for lunch and dinner.

Wow! Our new favorite Mexican place in the area! The location is decorated beautifully, very modern and inviting. The salsa here is next level, in my opinion. Their margarita was perfectly balanced and a delicious addition to the meal. The mocajete is one of our favorites, and everything in it was absolutely piping hot and delicious! So much meat and veggies. It’s well worth the cost. We also got the Chicken Spinach Enchiladas, which were also delicious. The waiter was kind and friendly, and the service was very fast. We’ll be back! Great job, La Casita team!

Some of our favorites are the La Casita Special, Doblado Special, the carne asada street tacos and shrimp tacos and the cheesy chicken! Excellent salsa verde! Good portions. We have family members with special diets and the crew is always willing to help accommodate.
The service is top notch! Jorge, Casar, Gio and Leo are on top of their serving game. Fantastic customer service by all employees. The whole team is always welcoming as soon as you walk in the doors, they are friendly and attentive to each persons need.
Love the setting, as it has beautiful decor and they are always decorating for the different seasons! The restaurant is always clean, from top to bottom. The lighting is nice for each part of the day and there are big windows which you can look out.
If you can’t sit down, call ahead for pick-up or use the drive through.
Ample parking is available with handicap accessibility.
If you haven’t tried La Casita, now is the time to give it a try. Also, ask them about their other restaurants in Springfield.

Fantastic! Go eat their food! What are you waiting for? Stop reading reviews, put down the phone, get in your car, and get down there. They literally have food that you should eat. I don’t know why you’re still reading this. Your grumbly belly has been diagnosed, you’ve been given the remedy, should be on your feet and out the door!

This was the best food I’ve had in a long time. I would recommend this place and food to anyone that wants an authentic Mexican experience. Our water Pablo was so courteous. Even the owner was walking around making sure everyone was taken care of and happy.

Best Mexican food in the Ozarks. My husband and I are from CA and love authentic Mexican food. We love La Casita. It’s really the only place we will go. Lunch specials are amazing. Portions are huge. It’s perfect. We love the staff they are so kind and even though it’s always busy, it’s never a huge wait.
