Coffee & food were fantastic! 5⭐️food!
The croissant sandwich was perfectly cooked! Cherry coffee was great!!!
Staff, particularly the one girl was incredibly rude. Her tone, rolling her eyes, huffing when being asked questions. Not everyone’s first language is English.

Always my favorite coffee housr, with great coffee drinks and quick service. Staff is fabulous at pointing out dribk specials and new pastry items.

They serve a good product and it’s in a nice place. I think some people have problems with the price of some items and expect to be waited on hand a foot.
My server was very helpful, realizing I preferred Oat milk and adapting my beverage to suit my needs. Lovely

New staff. No foam on cappuccino. Refuses to make new one. Overflows the cup with mostly more milk. Completely rude, irritated we ask for new saucers. I was very nice to her, total incompetence. Sad.

Just gross coffee. Tastes like burnt mud water for a simple drip coffee. Pastries and brekfast sandwiches are okay

Nothing special on my coffee just the fancy name Maple cardamom iced latte. Coffee to strong and almost burnt flavor to even taste the other things. The scone was definitely not fresh and it tasted “flourly” couldn’t really taste the cinnamon. Just another overpriced coffee shop. Place was quiet enough to sit down to study or work.

On Thursday, June 19, I spent two hours working at this coffee shop and needed to use the bathroom before my long drive home. At exactly 5pm, when the shop was closing, I asked for the bathroom key and explained I only needed a few seconds, but the woman at the counter just shrugged and said, ‘Sorry, store policy.’ I found this inflexible and disappointing as a paying customer.
I also bought a $4 lemonade, which was mostly ice in a cheap plastic cup. I regret tipping after both the service and drink quality. I hope management will reconsider their policies and improve the value.

Been going to Catalpa for 5 years now almost religiously. I don’t really understand where the negative comments come from, the coffee is good, the employees are nice and good at their jobs. Folks gotta chill out, if your drink isn’t to your liking kindly ask for an adjustment, I never had an issue doing so. People are saying they have been charger for putting extra milk in their lattes (which tbh why are you even doing that ruining a latte) or for cups. I literally earlier today asked for a cup of ice and it wasn’t a problem. People gotta chill. Seems like a lot of unreliable narrators yo me.

Wish I had never purchased anything, baristas were more interested in talking to each other and their friends. I paid $5.25 for a latte. I’d get better service at Dunkin donuts.

Good coffee but regularly sells day-old baked goods (without indication) at regular price….includes croissants, lol This all started when they changed ownership. Has only gotten worse. Avoid the stuff from the bakery (Tart in NoHo)…. Also, the overall google rating is skewed up by the good reviews from before the new ownership. Beware! Try Upper Bend in Turners
