Had not eaten here in years and I was craving a good cheeseburger and I went here. I was hungry (of course I was) and the double was only a little over a buck more so I doubled up (of course I did). Holy cow this is an immense burger. Huge, hot and tasty. Fries were the same. My dining partner got the single hamburger and she could not eat it all. Got it to go and they were fairly crowded and it was ready before I could get outside and sit down. For those of a certain age this place is as good as the old Morning Glory.

My first time here and it was a delicious and delightful visit , food was made to order, establishment has been there for 25 years so there’s history,love and dedication in service the public with their delicious food. The ladies are very nice , prices are very reasonable and establishment very clean.I tried the chicken sandwich and the pimiento cheese sandwich which it was delicious . I certainly be back here !

Best place for hamburgers and cheese burgers in Thomasville. I’ve never made it here for breakfast but hear from others that it’s very good as well. In the Winter their soup is a good change of pace from the burgers. They also have got dogs, salads, and other sandwiches. I’m partial to their tater tots as a side. Save a little room for their homemade desserts. It’s a small place and worth the wait.

S&S has the best burgers and tater tots. It is the only place I have seen that has persimmon pudding. It is not cakey and tastes exactly like I grew up on. Service is friendly and they know their customers. The atmosphere is all counter seating, and you can make new friends while having lunch. If you are lucky, you can see a train or two come through.

Cute little place! When i pulled up, there was no organized parking. There is a gravel lot beside the restaurant that you can park in, very hole-in-the-wall (love it!). We walked in and sat at the counter, which was the only seating in the building. There were a few tables outside, though. The waitress came and took our order in a direct fashion (think stereotypical hometown diner). This place seemed right out of a movie! I ordered the Barnyard Burger, and it was fabulous! They have seasoned salt at the table, which I wanted to point out as delicious. All in all, it’s a great place to eat and mingle!

Fantastic gem in downtown Thomasville. Looks very unassuming from the street, but it is well worth it to stop in. Cute counter service style diner, fast/friendly/attentive staff, and the food was wonderful!

Diner food for resteraunt prices. CASH ONLY should be cheaper, you cant get out of there for less then 15$ on cheap basic diner food. A BLT IS 6$, THAT IS ABSURD.

I have lived in the area for over 35 years and never been to eat here, today that changed. I loved it!! Food was great. Fries were great, service was great, prices were great. In fact someone else bought our lunch, don’t know who..but THANKS.

This is an amazing find, def the old fashioned, local diner you are looking for. Wonderful food, friendly staff and customers. Counter seating only as far as I could tell but def worth it. Be back soon

Not fancy but the folks are nice. Its like a little step back in time. I love local places and they ususally have the best food. Chatted with the lady beside me also very nice. Its that kind of place.
Hamburger steak plate was excellent. I opted for double salad in lieu of slaw and fries. The hamburger steak had american cheese and sauteed onions in it. How have i never thought of that? The salad was simple but the cheddar cheese was a flavorful addition and the ranch dressing was homeade so it too was flavorful. My son had a hamburger and hot dog with fries and devoured it all. He said it was great and we need to go back. Also ran into a high school friend so it was an added bonus!! We will be back for sure.
