Worst chinese I’ve ever had. Lo Mein noodles tasted like they came from an unwashed pan or unrinsed from dirty kitchen water. We couldn’t eat it. What a waate. General Tso listed as spicy had no heat at all. Egg rolls were chewy, spring roll was tiny any hollow. Best thing was the fried rice. Extremely disappointed. I hadn’t ordered there since 2022 according to my order history. I need to remember never again.

I recently placed a large order. The food was excellent and nothing was forgotten in the order. Lo mein, crab rangoon, and sesame chicken were great. My favorite is the crispy noodles for the soup. Service was fast and staff very friendly. This is the best place in Lockport for Chinese takeout.

Absolutely terrible. The chicken and broccoli was very bland. They must serve their broccoli raw because I asked for extra soft and it was very hard to chew. All that sauce and no flavor. Yellow rice for fried rice is a bad choice. Yellow fried rice had a funky flavor to it. The wonton soup had zero flavor. The only good thing they made was the egg rolls. Don’t waste your money here.

The takeout operation here hums with cheerful precision and delivers true food value. The chicken chow mein is my go-to favorite on the menu. It’s a heaping portion of tender meat coated in savory sauce — I order it with the pork fried rice and a hot crunchy egg roll. If you worked straight through your lunch hour and are famished, add a side of their fabulous fried pork dumplings.

Tried it today. Totally expensive and really not that good. SS chicken small and overcooked. Fried rice had horrible meat in it. Hope they do well but need to consider better quality and price. Regret reviewing this 6 years ago, it’s a solid staple that we have learned to love over the years.

If you can’t do Mayflower, then China King is the best Chinese takeout in Lockport. Located not far from Transit Road, they’ve got the American-style classics you’d want. All of the food is done well, and I’ve never had to wait too long for my food. Their lunch special is a great value, and they’ve got good selections for their specials in general.
I can recommend their sesame chicken, pepper steak & onion, and any meat with garlic sauce. Their hot and sour soup is also the best I’ve had from a Chinese place to date.
Now, some nitpicks. I’ve noticed of late that their “spicy” dishes taste a bit spicier than normal? Normally that’s not an issue with Chinese food for me. If you get the hot & sour soup, try to eat it without refrigerating it. If you keep it in the fridge too long, it congeals into this slimy goop. It may be a common gripe with that kind of soup, though.
Overall, they’re pretty good! I’m glad they’d opened up shop a couple years ago, so I don’t have to go out of my way to grab some Chinese food.

The sweet and sour chicken was mostly breading with many bites without any meat. It was the worst fried rice that I have ever eaten. It lacked flavor, and the rice was still crunchy. I’m sure that there are other items on the menu that are very good, but this particular choice was a big mistake.
