NO PIZZA FOR YOU!!…….. Unbelievable customer service experience – banned for logging a complaint about the burnt pizzas in the pictures below….. Ordered 5 pizzas with friends on a Sunday night. All of them arrived, burnt to a crisp. I called to ask what they could do about it and was initially told that they would replace all of them for me. Then I got a call back from the manager about 15 minutes later and he said he would not be replacing my pizzas, because they were not burned. I think the photos prove otherwise, but you be the judge. He claimed that the cheese was freshly ground that day, and therefore the “moisture barrier hadn’t been broken”, so even though they LOOKED burned, they actually weren’t. When I pushed back on this, saying I had never heard of such a thing, he said “I’m not replacing your pizzas and I will refund all of your money, but I’m going to ask that you never order here again, because you’ll just complain again next time. I have 14 pizzas to make. Goodbye.” I was cordial – never yelled or raised my voice. To be honest, I never even had a chance to….. I guess I’ll give him credit for refunding my money. But, I then had to order a cheese and pepperoni from Domino’s, so the kids would actually eat something, because they refused to eat this hot garbage. I won’t be ordering here again. Or shoot…… I guess I CAN’T. Side note….. 14 pizzas to make on a Sunday night with a big game going on…. Seems like a typical night in a pizza shop….

So its 9:28 pm on 11/04/2025, I called carbone’s to place an order, 1st attempt @9:26 pm, no answer, hung up, waited a minute, called back, a person picks up with an annoyed tone in his voice, he says ” Carbone’s for pickup ” and I said, well yea that’s why I called the first time I wanted to place an order for pick up, he then says “oh well I guess I’ll turn the oven back on” so right then I said, you know what, thats ok you don’t have to, he says with relief, “oh ok thank you” like I did him a favor. I literally live 4 minutes from this establishment and I order from them quite often and when I do I tip them EVERY time for just a quick 3 minute drive, up until now I’ve never had any issues and so I did not appreciate how this was handled when they close at 10 pm and this is not the first time I’ve called to place a pickup order 30+ minutes before they close and with all this said, they have lost another customer. Great food tho! Service is very up and down in my opinion.

We ordered pizza for delivery. The website said it would arrive at 5:10, so we didn’t put our 2 dogs away yet. Suddenly there was a very loud banging/pounding on our door that sounded like someone trying to smash it down. The dogs went nuts barking very loudly. One of our dogs is sweet, but 121# and looks intimidating to some. My wife hopped up and tried to wrangle the dogs that were already at the door. They were almost in the kennel and he started pounding again. My wife yelled to him, he knew we knew of his arrival. Again, she had to wrangle the little dog due to the repeated banging. Finally, the dogs are kennelled and he pounds on the door one more time. Upon reaching the, he tells my wife that he has other deliveries to make. The driver made the whole thing worse and caused it to take much longer than needed.
I called the store and asked for the manager. His name was Dale, or something with a D. He didn’t seem happy that I called. I tried to explain that my wife and I found the driver’s repeated banging on our door to be rude, especially since he knew we heard his arrival. The manager said they train their people to pound on doors because doorbells don’t work 40% off the time. I asked if they train their drivers to pound 3 times while people are trying to put their dogs away. He said my question was misleading like asking if I was happy while beating my wife. I was obviously not happy with his reaction. I told him that I was expecting to hear that he was sorry that happened, but that was never said. He seemed focused on me and how the driver wasn’t rude, and made it seem my wife and I were the problem. I asked him if we should have let our dogs great the driver. He ultimately hung up on me! We could have just never ordered from our local Carbone’s, but instead I gave them a chance. Silly me because in 2025 the customer never has a chance to be right anymore, regardless of the old saying that the customer is always right. Your pizza is not good enough to deal with this crap!

Horrible. Under done pizza and waiting over an hour. Called to complain and asked if we ate it, said yes and was told oh well. No refund, no offer to remake, nothing. Do NOT recommend them. When we picked up the pizza, it was sitting in a delivery bag. Many, many years of pizza and this is the worst. Just sad.

Bill has been the owner there for decades and he runs a tight ship and I know personally when he is working you’re going to get the best pizza and I would’ve left 5 stars but he doesn’t work every day if you get my point.

Ordered through door dash. First time customer. Pizza was sooo good! Had been craving good thin crust square cut pizza for months. Loved it. We had a large pepperoni and a medium sausage. The Ceasar salad was really good too.

We order Carbone’s a lot, and we are usually very happy with food and service.
However, this was the “side salad” that was delivered to our home tonight. My wife called to see if we could get a refund as this is just shredded lettuce and croutons, and the manager she spoke to actually got upset with her and was unbelievably rude. I would hope that manager treats customers more respectfully moving forward. Very disappointed with this experience.

Carbone’s has been a great experience for the last 3 years for us but tonight something was off about the two pizzas we ordered. One was a build your own and it was flavorless. The pizza sauce was there but had no flavor. The other pizza was the gyro pizza. It didn’t come with the Greek sauce on the side like the menu says and also was over cooked. Very disappointing tonight when trying to enjoy a cozy birthday night.
