Great experience at Fins Surfside & Spirits. The food is full of flavor, and it’s clear they don’t cut corners on quality. I had a chance to talk with the owner, and you can tell they genuinely care about what they serve. The teriyaki wings were excellent even though they were brought out by mistake, they let us keep them, which was a really nice gesture. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fins has the cutest beach-themed atmosphere and amazing service! They were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Shrimp Po’ Boy, and it was absolutely delicious: perfectly seasoned, buttery shrimp and a huge portion for the price. I had an amazing lunch and would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Ribeye was tender, great flavor, big portion and at the perfect cooked point. Wings were very good, dry rubbed and no grease at all. Salads fresh and everything was very tasty. Service was great and people were very friendly. We’ll be back!

We stopped and ate here while in town. It was prime lunch time, but it was a ghost town. I got the two hotdogs and my husband had the fish sandwich. My hotdogs were ok, but nothing special, husband’s fish sandwich was the same. French fries were my favorite part. Our waitress did a good job and the place looked clean. Not sure why there wasn’t more people.

Day 2 of operation, fryer wouldn’t work, they had fry daddy’s a substitute. Waited almost 2 hours for meals to come. They brought appetizers that were hot & delicious but came as after thought almost 1.5 hours in. They are mostly sandwiches for now. Food was all hot and delicious. You may want to wait a bit to come. They need to get their feet under them. Nice folks.

We’re Sparta locals, and we wanted to leave an honest review based on our experience. We’re really glad to see a solid restaurant in this spot.
The first thing that stood out was how clean everything was. The space feels fresh and inviting, the floors are spotless, and even the bathrooms are clean, which is always a good sign of what’s going on in the kitchen.
The atmosphere is relaxed and fun with a beachy, Margaritaville-style vibe that makes it a nice place to sit back and enjoy a meal.
The food was very good across the board. The fish sandwich was excellent, the homemade dressing really stood out, and the wings were very good. The burger was another highlight. You can tell it’s a thick, hand-pattied burger and not something pulled from a freezer. It was cooked well and had great flavor. The appetizers were great as well, and everything we tried was well prepared.
Service was friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. If you tried something in this location in the past and weren’t impressed, it’s worth giving this place another chance. They’ve clearly put effort into improving things, and it shows.
Overall, a dependable, enjoyable restaurant that deserves local support.

We had a really good experience at Fins. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we even got to meet the head chef, who was just as pleasant as everyone else.
We ordered the 60-cent wings with the garlic parm sauce, fried mozzarella sticks, a fish sandwich, a chicken sandwich, a shrimp po’ boy, and a burger. Everything tasted great. The portions were just right, and the prices were very affordable.
Their liquor license wasn’t active during our visit, but it’ll be ready on December 1st. I’m already looking forward to heading back next week to enjoy a few drinks with another great meal.
Overall, it’s a fantastic little spot with great food and great people. We’ll definitely be back.

Service is excellent! Everyone is so attentive and professional. Our table was cleared quickly and our waitress was amazing. The potato salad does have jalapenos in it which I love but it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Burger was thick, well cooked, and beautifully plated. Could use a little more seasoning but that’s minor. Worth the price and can’t wait to come back.

I’m originally from this county and am constantly looking for places to eat when visiting. I saw this new restaurant and even after reading the mixed reviews, decided to give it a try. While the atmosphere wasn’t perfect, the food and service were. Our table tried both the fish sandwich and the Reuben. Both were as good as any I’ve eaten in the “big city”. Our waitress was very polite, friendly, and punctual. We’ll definitely stop in next time we’re in town.
