My boyfriend and I had such a great time here celebrating our 2 years anniversary!!! Piper did such a phenomenal job as our server! She was engaging, knowledgeable about the menu, guided us through our options wonderfully, checked in about every course, and even brought us complimentary drinks to celebrate! We had such a great time! The food was wonderful and came out quickly, our waters were never below 3/4 full, empty dishes were cleared quickly and there was always something on the table! We will definitely be returning!

Limelight transported me to a calming and cool oasis in the midst of the blistering summer of Memphis. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in its sun room with a neutral natural palette that I once indulged myself at the Rose Tavern in Canandaigua in Upstate New York. That nostalgic feeling of being in a beautiful tavern is pure delight. Absolutely beautiful restaurant, truly deserves limelight recognition in Germantown.
Our darling Annalise server was extremely friendly. We loved the presentation of our dinner, but the octopus was a bit soft for our taste. I’ve had plenty of octopus in other cities and understand the dish is typically more expensive, but a small single mediocre tentacle is quite pricey for $28. I personally prefer a crispy and firmer chew for octopus. The scallops and shishito peppers were a delightful pairing.
Valet parking shouldn’t be forced upon the customer though? I felt bad that I don’t carry cash to tip the valet, and valet is mandatory unless you want to park on the side streets and walk over. Do carry any cash! I wish that a portion of the parking lot was open for self parking though as those boys don’t need to help out every guest who don’t need valet and subjecting them to wait around for the boys to grab cars that we’re perfectly capable of doing ourselves.

We had an amazing time here with delicious food. We were served by Indianna, she answered every questions we had, was very friendly and attentive. We had Butter tasting, pork belly skewers, roasted Cauliflower, caramelised Onion Dip, Grilled Octopus, Blackened Salmon, Spinach Fettuccine, Shrimp Risotto, Crème Brûlée . All items were perfectly cooked and the flavours were Finger-licking Good . It’s worth a repeat visit!!!

Where do I start?!?! This was My Wife and I anniversary. This was our first experience as well!!! When I say blown away with food, service and drinks …I wish I knew a better expression to speak of my feels! The butter tasting was simple yet, exquisite! The pork belly was succulent, juicy and umami to the palette! My wife have the Parisian Gnocchi and I basically ate her plate! I had the Steak Frites…the cook was masterful and the fries well beyond amazing! Our drinks…the His and Hers was and experience within itself as it’s apart of their winter menu! We were lucky to try!! The Midas Touch reminded me of a Old Fashioned with a twist of lemon notes!!! This place is “THAT” place! I will be back for the spring menu for sure and more!!! Oh!!!! Not to forget our server Chris with a well-rounded knowledge of the menu and simply knows how to host a table with good vibes!!! Thank you and will recommend again!!! LIMELIGHT thank you for creating a wonderful experience for our anniversary!!!!

Server great. Drinks good. Food 5/10.
Undercooked chicken. Dry steak. $52 lamb chop that is only two bites. Not kidding. No sides. Complained to server. Manager offered another “2” lollipops of lamb. But never came to the table. Asked the server why the “GM” paced our table but never came by he then comes over and has nothing to say. Other than it looks like your part had a good time. (Correct. The wine and your sever semi saved dinner with our party).
Suggestions….Chef absolutely unqualified for this level. GM absolutely needs a career change and maybe a class on etiquette and people skills.
Absolutely suggest any other restaurant in town. Even Chinese takeout. Absolutely will save you a bundle and an ordeal with this over hyped restaurant that over charges.
Again….servers and back of the house were fantastic. Especially our server Liz.
The GM and Chef….not good at all. Not even worth rating.

I was just here tonight with a group of friends. We had six people total and were told we had to order everything at the same time (all appetizers and entrees) which is fine except we did not get two of our main appetizers that we all ordered together to split. Everything was coming out at once and the entrees came so close to the appetizers that we forgot completely until we were done eating and having another drink by the bar saying that we were still hungry and shouldn’t be with the amount of food we ordered. Then it hit us that we didn’t get two huge appetizers and they were still on the bill that we already paid (these were $20-$25 apps each). It was pretty frustrating when we realized but we knew they would make it right so we let them know. Unfortunately it was a lot more difficult than it should have been. They didn’t give us a gift card or apologize to us – they told us everyone would have to get their meals “refunded” then charged again without the dishes that we never got. The problem here is that a “refund” would take days to get back on the card (so it would look like two huge amounts withdrawn at the same time) and two of the 6 people had already left and since we split the bill they could not refund everyone. This was a huge bummer and no one higher up came out to speak with us at all. The issue is that when you go to a restaurant to pay for an experience and to relax and enjoy yourself, you expect to not have to be checking over everything and you assume the waiter will take care of you because that is their job. Our waiter should have known we did not receive two of the dishes. The food we did get was great and if someone had come out to talk with us and immediately make it right we would be back in that restaurant within a couple of weeks but now we all agreed we probably wouldn’t be back any time soon because of the way this was handled.

We started off with a French 75 and a Manhattan. Both were made very very well. Next, we had the market salad. The blue cheese was mild. The dressing was on point and it was just delicious. next my wife had the blackened salmon entrée. The combination of the salmon and the lentils was delicious. I even had a bite and it was very good and I don’t like salmon. I had the scallops with orzo. While the dish was expensive, it was phenomenal! The white wine, butter, reduction sauce made me want to lick the bowl, as a matter of fact when no one was looking, I drink it. Sometimes manners don’t matter when the food is that good. With tip we spent $183.
Our waiter had a very nice personality and took great care of us. Even though valet was good, we would recommend everything that we ordered and cannot wait to try more of their menu. They have an excellent chef.

Lastly, the cocktails were fantastic! The mixologists know what they’re doing with all these local and fresh ingredients. I loved eating here while visiting Memphis!
