“Tasty Crab just opened its door in late April of 2019. We’re located in the Westwood Shopping Center in Fayetteville, NC. We’re a restaurant primarily focused on serving seafood. We pick ingredients carefully and use only the freshest and natural ones to prepare every dish, and have been trying to cook them in a healthier way to provide the most nutritious food. First time and last time, can promise you that. We walked in the door at 4:45 and seated right away. We were greeted and they took our drink orders right away, but took us 25 minutes to get our drinks, and all of them were waters but one which was a soda. Then it took another 15 minutes for them to come back and get our order. We should have left right the and there. It took us ONE WHOLE HOUR to get our food. The waiter was good, little slow for not taking the initiative to make sure everything was going smoothly. Food was good but portions are crazy small and not worth the money, as far as the flavor it was so so bland ever and just horrible. Save your money and go somewhere else. Just over 2 hours and 15 minutes there and will not go back ever again.

First time… never again… ate one shrimp out of a seafood boil bag, food wasn’t seasoned at all. Just a bunch of butter thrown into a bag on top of the food. You can look at the food and see it is not seasoned…

$96 with door dash you would expect a little better taste. I ordered the 1/2lb shrimp and crabs, which came with pot/saus/corn in the mild garlic butter sauce. Once I got my food, and began to eat, it was unclear why people raved over the unseasoned food. The corn, and crab legs was just Bland with no taste, and the sauce had no taste as well. Food looked fresh, just Bland—-Bland—Bland. I had to add old bay , cayenne, and a bit of garlic to sprinkle on my food to give it some taste. Lastly, I ordered no egg and I received eggs. I am not a boil egg person. So I guess they decided what I wanted.
The wings my friend ordered was not worth the cost. No seasoning .

All around great! Not even one bad thing to say, great service, great food and great timing! Love that we were allowed to draw on the walls and furniture! My crab actually had crab in them! Potatoes and corn were soft and delicious. And let me just say again, the service was great! When you have good people serving you, that matters. Thanks y’all!

Luis my server for tonight was awesome!! My first solo date was full with confidence and happiness!! Happy hour landsharks and tequila shot!! My seafood boil was great that I ordered again but with a 6pc lemon pepper wings with white sticky rice!! I absolutely love white sticky rice!! Best quality!! Thank you Tasty Crab!!

I ordered the 1lb(no head) shrimp and 1lb snow crab cluster combo with egg, potato, and sausage. It was really good and for the amount of food I got I was pleased. I ordered on their site and my food was ready within the 15min pickup window. My meal was around $43.

We love Tasty Crab and on Saturday nights, there’s a DJ and all. My family LOVES seafood and have eaten at most of the seafood places in Fayetteville. Tasty is one of our favs. The food is not overly salty like some others. The spice levels are exactly what they say they are. Tasty never disappoints. I’ll be sure to post pics on my next visit.

The restaurant is full of written notes (in sharpie) from people on the walls and booths which I found unique and pretty cool. The service was horrible. After our server took our order she handed us our boils (didn’t say anything at all) and never came back to the table. She was standing in their serving station on her phone the entire time. Once we finished our meals, we walked up to the bar since we saw a register there and tried to pay our tab. Only when she saw us walking up to pay was the only time she came to talk to us. Our drinks were completely empty for a while and we left them on the corner for her to see them. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to go out of my way to look for my server. However, the food was pretty good and came out hot. The seasoning was just right as well.

Excellent experience. First time here and I loved everything from the food to the music . Our waitress was great. Very attentive and so nice. I got a boil for my first time. It was just absolutely delicious. Oysters were so good. We’ll definitely be back again soon.
