The Good:
Food is decent. Actually some of the items were quite delicious. Seaweed salad was very good. Dumplings were also delicious (especially fried pork dumplings).
Bad:
Way too overpriced (!)

We have tried, over and over again, to give this local Chinese restaurant a chance, especially since we live around the corner… But whether it’s been take-out or dine-in, we always end up highly disappointed. Tonight, we went to the restaurant, on a random, rainy Tuesday night at around 6:45 p.m., and the Chinese man with the shaved head or bald head hardly even greeted us or said hello, and sat us down at a table. There were only 2 other tables dining during this time. He barely gave us 30 seconds to order or look over the menu. And I politely asked him for some more time. He walked away (in a very rude manner). Then, he came back a few minutes later with our tea. We ordered our food, and our chicken dish, with broccoli, carrots, and snow peas, came out cold! Once again, the restaurant only had a total of 3 tables dining in it, and they messed up a chicken and broccoli dish, and served it cold??? So, I sent it back, to be heated up, and our waiter made a funny face, as if this was inconveniencing him. Not even an apology. Nothing. I also asked for my boneless spare ribs to be cooked “extra well done, burnt, but dry, with no sauce on them,” yet they came out with sauce on them. So, I ate them, and they were hot enough, and fairly edible. But fact is, our waiter did not pay attention to any of our requests, and clearly, he did not want to work this evening. We even ordered brown rice, but he came out with white rice, which we sent back as well! He was a very rude, unpleasant, obnoxious man. So we finished up, and by that point, a completely different waiter came over, cleared our plates, and brought us our check. Our other waiter in question completely disappeared? We will never return again. They have decent food (at best), but on a random, rainy Tuesday night, with less than 10 people in the restaurant, if they can’t even bring out “hot” chicken and broccoli, along with this waiter having a MAJOR attitude problem, then clearly, they need help, and quite possibly, a management or ownership change!!!
Trust me when I tell you, nothing in this review is fabricated and/or a hidden agenda. Dine elsewhere, coming from someone who knows and loves, true, authentic, proper Chinese food, more than most Chinese people. Ok?

Been ordering take out for a few years and usually no problems. The last few weeks not so much. Tonight order chicken pineapple rice and brown duck with brown sauce. Both came home spicy. Neither were to be spicy. Last week the chicken pineapple rice came with some random shrimp. Thank God I wasn’t allergic. Time to find another place for take out. Too bad.

We’ve been visiting Ling Ling for at least 10 years. Unfortunately, for the last two years, the service has noticeably fallen off. The quality of the food is still good. For our family, going to Ling Ling was always reserved for special occasions because it’s about 30 miles from where we live. Going forward, we’re going to be rethinking our next visit.

Best Chinese food around here, my sister from Florida also says it’s the best Chinese she has had in years. Been going here since it first opened – it had kept its quality up and I think it owned -at least 20 years ago.

We ordered take out, and the food was excellent! We ordered the cold sesame noodles, the happy family, and some dumplings. All was delicious, and we’ll definitely order from here again next time we want Chinese food.

Ambience and presentation of the food is actually pretty good. However the taste is quite bland with little flavor. Portions are on the small side. Not sure if they are promoting more “healthy” chinese food….if there is such a thing…

This is the worst Asian place I ever bought from, I tried ordering a lunch special with fried rice no pork, they told me I could not have rice without pork, they had to put pork in it, then I went ahead and ordered a noodle soup, the noodles were uncooked, and the broth was tasteless. Do not buy from this place unless you want an unpleasant experience.
