We were craving pizza after a long day at Six Flags, so my boyfriend and I looked up our options on the drive home and found Heartbeat Pizza. We got there and the atmosphere was great, and we were greeted by an older Indian woman who was happy to take our order of a 14 inch half Hawaiian half Meat Lovers pizza for $23.99. Our order was ready in 10-15 minutes, not a bad wait. The pizza was freshly made with a super thick, delicious crust and loaded with toppings + hot, gooey cheese. It hit the spot after a long day of eating snacks and expensive theme park food… would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable, local pizza place in Bakersfield!

Normally, I stick with simple pizza but wanted to try it after receiving a flyer showing the Indian Style, I had to do it. It was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. We got the Chicken Tikka pizza and the Mexican Seasoned Wedges. Not greasy, the pizza crust was perfect. We will definitely order again and recommend it!

What a uniquely Bakersfield combination – Indian toppings & seasonings on a pizza! Love it!!! The pizza could use some more cheese to hold all the toppings on, but the crust was tasty as was the sauce. The chicken wings were flavorful & well cooked – not dry at all. They kindly included 3 different dipping sauces. I will be adding this to my list of favorite places for quick meal that satisfies the Indian palate as well as the the pizza-lover. ❤️
