I was driving down the road today looking for a Starbucks and I passed Canal Coffee so I thought let me try this place out for a cup of coffee. I turned my car around to go get coffee and a little snack.
I was greeted by a young man who came out of the back door with the little clipboard to take my order. Love you to see this young man know what customer service is all about. He was very pleasant and patient as I was trying to decide what was on their menu. He took my payment nicely told me to pull up to the next window where I would get my order.
It was also created from the window by a couple young ladies who were also very pleasant and understood but customer service is all about.
Coffee was decent and I got a lemon Loaf, which was pretty good.
I would definitely come back to the spot. I’m in the mood for coffee and in the area again just for the simple fact of how these young people understood the value of good customer service.

We tried to drive up. But she wanted to take our order way out. No one was in front of us. The gurl who took our order at the walk up window was great. I opted out to not order at the drive through. So went and parked and ordered at the window. Loved the options. Definitely was delicious.

I am exploring many different sugar free options to find my new regular drink. The staff is always full of helpful suggestions and ideas! Canal has the largest list of sugar free flavors I have found at a coffee place. They have several great food options as well. Even pup cups.

I stopped by for a quick coffee on my way to work and had an amazing experience. Emily was incredibly helpful and suggested a few great drink options. I ended up choosing the Cinnabee—and it instantly became my new favorite! The quality of the drinks and the warmth of the staff, especially Emily, make this place stand out. Came here in December to grab some drinks and snacks.
We ordered a (hot) chai latte and a regular (black) coffee. Didn’t see any food on the menu out front, so no snacks.
The regular coffee was just ok. The chai latte was luke warm (definitely not hot) and way too sweet, one of the worst I’ve tried.
FYI this location has no indoor seating, they’ve got a drive through and a pick up window, plus a handful of tables out front.
Servers were super pleasant though (why this rating is two stars and not one).
