I’m honestly pretty disappointed with my visit to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I waited about 20 minutes for a smoothie, and when I finally got it, it was really chunky and not blended well at all.
I understand it was busy, but the employee’s attitude made the experience worse and kind of dragged down the whole atmosphere. I tried to ask about getting it remade or refunded, but she kept going to the back and I couldn’t catch her. I ended up having to leave because I had to get back to work, so I wasn’t able to get it fixed.
I usually enjoy Tropical Smoothie, which is why this was frustrating. Just hoping service and quality are a little better next time.

I enjoy the smoothies from Tropical smoothie cafe. I normally purchase from their other Oviedo location. This is the second time in 2 weeks I visited this location. The staff here are not warm welcoming nor friendly. Daisha G. is especially rude. I will stick to ordering from the other near by location.

This store is refusing to issue me a refund for an order I never received or intended to pay full price. I was trying to use a promotion from my cell phone carrier. I keep getting pushed back and forth from the store to corporate and corporate to the store. Corporate emailed me (see attached) and said the store would issue the refund. What’s the issue??! I cancelled the order and requested a refund as instructed by employees. This is stressful and unnecessary. I want my money back!!
UPDATE: I called to speak with a store manager on 2/18 and was told they do not handle refunds at the store and to dispute the charge with my credit card. Unbelievable!! What a way to bring in new business.

The staff at this location made it a fantastic experience… Extremely friendly and we’re able to customize menu items to meet dietary restrictions for members of my party. The food was fresh, delicious and served up quickly… The restaurant was clean and everything was in good condition…

Tropical smoothie cafe is my favorite place to get smoothies,they have a good selection of smoothie flavors and toppings, they’re fast, friendly, helpful. I would recommend this place to any smoothie lover.There’s always room for improvement though. 1: they serve the smoothies in a Styrofoam cup with a plastic lid, I would recommend in order to reduce waste and help save the environment they give you the option to have a stainless steel water bottle as an extra cost option, or let you give them your stainless steel water bottle for them to pour the smoothie into. 2: I would recommend they give you the option to choose between the biodegradable straw they currently give you, a reusable stainless steel straw, or an edible straw in order to reduce waste.

I had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie thanks to the girl with the long black hair working behind the counter. She was friendly, efficient, and had such a positive attitude—it really made my day. My order was ready quickly and made perfectly. You can tell she cares about doing a good job and making customers feel welcome. Definitely hope she’s there next time I stop by!

I ordered a smoothie, and while it was made right away, it was left sitting on the counter while the staff moved on to prepare food for someone who had ordered after me. Even though my smoothie was already done, it wasn’t handed to me until after they served the other customer.
I then placed an order for a second smoothie and paid for it. After that, three more customers came in and ordered food and drinks—and the staff prioritized all of their orders before mine.
To make matters worse, the employee then forgot about my smoothie altogether and started chatting with a friend who didn’t even work there. When I asked if my smoothie was going to be made, she looked confused, turned to her coworker, and said, “Umm… did you make it?”
I was the first customer in the store, yet I had to wait over 20 minutes while multiple people who came in after me were served first. Very unprofessional behavior from a young and inattentive staff.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Tropical Smoothie for years, but I have to shout out Leia for making the best smoothies I’ve ever had! Every time she makes my order, it’s absolute perfection—smooth, flavorful, and blended just right. On top of that, her customer service is amazing! She’s always friendly, welcoming, and truly seems to care about the customer experience. At this point, I might just have to ask for her schedule so I can make sure she’s the one making my smoothies! Keep up the great work, Leia!

Really expensive and the smoothie I got was obviously not made correctly today. Chunks of fruit in it, way too icy, and not much flavor. Train these girls better, I know for many it’s their first job. But for $9 a smoothie I expect it to be good. Really disappointed. Waste of time and money today. The wrap was ok though.
Train train train, if your name has smoothie in it make sure they know how to make them for what you charge.
Also the store is so dark and unappealing try to make it more inviting my goodness
