In a little over a week, we ate at Frannie’s three times–and we are not vegetarian nor vegan!! What an amazing place with Frannie doing all the cooking, etc. Top notch.
I want to empahsize–YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE VEGAN to find a delicious meal to suit your appetite. From the meatloaf to the lobster roll, to the hamburger or Tacos of two types. And then, some awesome home made cupcakes or a piece of cake to fill you up even more. Just come and see for yourself.
I have taken many pics of the food we ate, the ambient decor and can only say it’s a totally relaxing atmosphere with great food.
Some items you will like better than others. Ask questions if you don’t know what you’re getting. Frannie will educate you.
Later, i will post more of my fave foods, but all is cooked with love, only different flavors on your palate.

Stopped into Frannie’s Vegan Cafe in between house showings to get some work done and I’m so glad I did.
The vibe is welcoming, the staff is kind, and it’s such a great local spot to support.
I tried the “Sleepy Brown” shake with blueberries, banana, spinach, lavender, and CBD — it was delicious and genuinely calming.
Highly recommend if you want something healthy, unique, and made with care!

This place is great! I really enjoyed the food and the owner was so sweet and so were the two other customers (“Jeremy” and Nancy )! I had the BBQ jackfruit sandwich, street corn, and roasted potatoes. I wish I could have tried everything! Nancy let me take a picture of her “meatloaf” so I’m including that, too. And yes, I totally ate the lemon blueberry muffin in the car and yes, I totally licked the inside of the bag when I was finished

Love this place! I have recently been very sensitive to many foods and have been on a low FODMAP diet. I told Frannie what I couldn’t have and what I could and she found me what I could eat. I had the chicken sandwich the first time I was there and it tasted like chicken. So impressed! My husband tried the meatloaf this time and he couldn’t believe it wasn’t actually meat loaf. Got the cupcakes last time and my baker daughter said it was confusing her because it tasted exactly like “real cupcakes”. Everything I have tried has been beyond expectations. Great atmosphere! Loved this place and will be coming back!

Cute cafe with excellent food and service. We felt right at home and everything we ordered was timely and delicious. I had the special chicken tempeh wrap with lime slaw and cowboy beans. My partner had the chicken fried steak. 10/10 recommend.

I was in town for work and I am SO glad I stopped in. I’m not vegan, but I do like to cut back on meat whenever possible and this was a real treat. The BBQ sandwich was so good I almost wanted to confirm that it was indeed vegan, ha ha! The cauliflower wings worked great as a starter and the the Window Seat smoothie was like a mini tropical vacation. The owner stopped over and chatted and was just so nice and welcoming! I’ll be back! Don’t sleep on this spot if you’re in Johnson City. Wish we had a place like this in Madison, WI, I’d be there daily! 🙂

Was invited to the quaint, adorable, and inviting atmosphere of Frannie’s Vegan Café today by a sweet friend who treated me to lunch… and it was wonderful!
Besides the food being super fresh and healthy it was tasty and fun too.
How is food fun? Here it just is, especially if you are new to vegan food. The fun comes from stepping out of the box, trying something new and seeing how it compares to food you are otherwise used to.
Frannie’s has a welcoming atmosphere that’s coupled with a homey kitchen and cool decor. It felt like being on vacation in a new town when stepping inside with an urban meets country vibe.
For added fun, I has a patron pick out my meal, which was the jackfruit Bar B Que sandwhich with a sideof carrots and seasoned potatoes.
The gluten free lemon and blueberry cupcake hit the sweets craving spot too!
It was great leaving satiated and not stuffed or too full, which I attribute to the quality of the food prepared there.

While the food was good, I cant really reccomend this place for anyone with dietary restrictions. I told the lady my child cant have sugar or gluten and she explained everything was gluten and sugar free, but I believe she was lying. Whenever my child has those things he has very certain reactions, which he got very sick after eating here. She claims she only uses apple sauce as asweetener, but I could very clearly taste the sugar in the icing in the cupcakes. makes me wish I could turn this place in to be inspected for false claims.
