We’re only in town once a year, and this visit was especially meaningful because our daughter had just had a new baby. On our last night, she finally felt well enough to get out with the baby, so my wife and I wanted to surprise them with a nice dinner somewhere they had never been.
After searching around, we found Dribble Creek Outpost. The place looked great online, so we loaded up the kids, made the 15-minute drive, unloaded everyone, and walked up to the front door. Everything looked fantastic… until we were met with a sign that said closed for a private party.
Back into the car we went — now with tired, crying kids — and had to scramble to find somewhere else at the last minute.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this is 2025. It would have taken five minutes to post a notice on the website or update the Google listing for the evening. That simple step would have saved customers a lot of inconvenience, especially families.
I’m sure the food and atmosphere are great, but communication matters. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark.

I have ordered Brisket on occasion in different restaurants, and I only remember one time that it was delicious. Other times it was very disappointing.
Here at Dibble Creek Outpost, I saw Brisket on the menu, and thought, “should I try it”?. They have a mouth watering menu so I had to make a serious decision. I ordered the Brisket and man! It was delicious. Melt in your mouth delicious. You must try this place. Live entertainment, great atmosphere.

Visted this restaurant during a business trip. The atmosphere is awesome. Has a cool unique warehouse feeling, but also very cozy. They were understaffed; however, our waitress was so nice and cheerful! Great menu and unique items. Recommend the fried zucchini and the fish & chips. I bet it’s fantastic in the warm months on the deck. Highly recommend.

Great restaurant, Mel was an awesome waitress, promote to outpost mayor! Restaurant was exactly like its name and always had your eyes wondering the layout. Service was timely, and service was the quick.
Food items were all handmade or from scratch except for drinks and condiments.
This place should be a chain, but it was the perfect find traveling about.

Cute place, clean well appointed decor, and we took the short drive off of i-5 to try something different. It was worth it.
The food was good but not over the top I’m sorry to say. I guess I should have told the waitress, The” crispy ” tator tots were tasty but not all that crispy and the Tr-tip sandwich had plenty of meat and good quality but not much flavor and needed BBQ sauce to round it out. The squash on my wife’s plate was delicious though.

A very awesome hidden gem! They have great food but I always go for their hot honey bone-in wings! They have daily specials so ALWAYS call ahead and ask what it may be. I always call ahead if they have wings because they sell out so fast! Candice was awesome, friendly, & very attentive to not only my friend and I, but to everybody in the restaurant. Just good food, good people, with a perfect atmosphere! Very unique and they do special entertainment during the weekend! A must go to at least once while in Red Bluff!

Love the decor of this place, the vibe. However EAT A SNACK before u go do not arrive starving as AT TIMES the service can be extremely slow. Staff is sweet and courteous and friendly, bathroom placement is perfect and both are very roomy, out door dining area with live music from time to time, vintage car shows, check out theor website for events. Food is delish!
