The hand pies at this bakery are delicious, the chicken pot pie is especially good. Sabina is always so kind and makes sure you leave having a good day. The baked goods are warm and fresh every morning.

Simply Baked is a cute little quaint* pastry shop here in Kimberling City. Pastries are large & very tasty!! Iced coffee was good.

We ordered the humongous cinnamon roll, blueberry scones, & a caramel coffee cake!

We picked up a sampling of what the bakery offered for breakfast and it did not disappoint. On the sweet side we tried a triple berry scone and a cinnamon roll. Both were outstanding. The cinnamon roll was still warm and it had the right balance of flavors. The scone was perfect. The show stopper for me was the hand pies. We tried an egg and chorizo, a ham and cheese and a chicken pot pie. I know, chicken pot pie is not for breakfast but it sounded good and we are saving it for later but the chorizo and egg was really good. It was packed full of chorizo and egg and had a light and flaky crust. It was a wonderful breakfast. It came with a chipotle sauce that gave it a little something extra. The atmosphere was very nice and they had a great assortment of coffee. I highly recommend stopping in, even if you have a bit of a drive to get there. You have to go early because they close at 2:00. I don’t have a photo to post because we ate all of it. I don’t normally write reviews but had to in this case.

Great Bakery food items! Had the Carrot Cake, and Carmel Apple Cake, both really tasty! Could tell those were made fresh! I would come back here for sure!.. really like the quick games available, and had about 2 6 seat tables, and maybe 4 3-4 seat tables, also some seating outside..

Suggestion:Maybe have some light music in the background.. conversations carried easily. Thank You

My family is visiting the area this weekend and this adorable little shop just fed everyone a high quality, fresh breakfast.

My personal favorite of their offerings was the chicken pot pie, the seasonings were incredible! It had a good amount of protein in there. My daughter and wife loved the scones. Great spot.

Neat little place on the very small KC strip. The ham and cheddar pastry was so salty, that most of it got tossed. Was it salted pork or lunch meat? The Guinness pastry and egg and chorizo were really tasty and the dough was good. Only improvement I would state on the Guinness is to not cook the potatoes before stuffing the mix into the uncooked dough, maybe?!?

Lastly, the price seems a bit much, but they are filling!

I got the triple Berry white chocolate scone and a white chocolate coconut latte. Both were amazing. The scones was enormous and baked to perfection. It was flavorful, moist and yet crumbly. I would strongly recommend this place.

An excellent alternative to fast food. We tried several meat pies and the huge cinnamon roll. Great food served fast by nice people who let you know that they appreciate you! The portions are generous and we split everything including the cinnamon roll 3 ways! Plenty of parking and no waiting if you get an early start.
