I’m new to the Springhill area and googled “breakfast near me” and I couldn’t be more glad that this place was recommended. Great service and even better breakfast. That burger was perfection. It’s a very cute diner and gives you that old school 80s diner vibes with the correct playlist lol. I will definitely be back, it’ll probably be one of my regular spots now.

My fiancée amd I came here 2 weeks ago to try something new. It was the absolute best experience we’ve had in a very long time. They made us feel right at home like family. The food is excellent, the service was awesome but the atmosphere was my favorite part. I loveeee the 50’s theme! So naturally when we got my step daughter this weekend we had to go back and she loved it too! The menu isn’t real big but it is a decent size plus it’s breakfast all day too! The kids menu was great bc it had more than 1 or 2 options like most restaurants do. We will definitely be back, alot! We definitely recommend! I forgot to take pictures this last time here but here is from our 1st visit.

Cool little gem hidden in Spring Hill. They’ve done a good job of making it look like and old diner. Burger and fries were good. Had the owner cooking for me, bonus. I hear the milk shakes are very good. But I didn’t have one.

My wife and I came ate here on Friday night about 7:00. We do not have to wait to get a seat. Server Dylan came right up and got our drink order. Came back a few moments later asked if we were ready and gave some recommendations as it was our first time. Gave us a few more moments and came back and got our orders. My wife ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with fired pickles and I got the Philly with beef and onion rings. My wife’s burger was great. Beef tasted great was cooked perfect and was juicy and had great flavor. My Philly was equally as good. The beef was juicy and tender no dry or chewy parts. The pepper jack cheese was good and the onions and peppers were great. The seasoning they used was good. The bun was nice and soft with no hard dry spots. The fried pickles were great just a little salty. The onion rings were great as swell. We will definitely come back. Has an old dinner feel and great decorations fun for kids. Can even sit at a car seat table.

I’m new to the area and like to try new places locally, I will not be coming back here and when I tried to speak with them about the issues I was ignored and told they couldn’t do anything about it. I usually dont write reviews but the food was terrible I ordered chicken and waffles cause who could mess up waffles and chicken tenders? I was very disappointed and I got coleslaw and it was very expired. I paid top dollar for inedible food

Great diner with a great nostalgic atmosphere. Our server was amazing, and he also made the best caramel cookie dough shake I’ve ever had! Food was good too, especially the unique fries that were crispy.

This place makes a really great cheeseburger and they even let you build your own. The french fries are unique and super crispy And not what you would expect. The potatoes have a different cut on them, which maximizes the crispy area. The tater tots are really good too. But the best part about the place is Nick, Junior, our waiter. You couldn’t find a friendlier guy offering such great Service. We will be returning!

Tried this diner for the first time on a Sunday morning around 9:30 a.m., and this is definitely the place to go. We were one of only three tables at the time, which made for a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, such a nice change from the usual crowded and hectic Sunday breakfast spots in Spring Hill. Their hours and menu don’t seem heavily geared toward the breakfast crowd, which may be why it was so calm.
The food came out quickly and was fresh. Simple dishes, but you can tell they use high quality ingredients- thick bacon, fluffy Texas toast, and eggs with rich yolks. Everything was very yummy. My build your own breakfast was only $8, and my husband and I’s total came to $17.01 before tip, which is hard to beat.
There were only two people working at the time, one cook and one server, so we did wait a few extra minutes for drinks, but that was completely reasonable given the amount of customers there to serve. Our server was very sweet and attentive.
A few small areas for improvement: the coffee, while a large portion, was a bit watery in flavor. There was no music or TV on, which made the space feel very quiet with so few customers. Also, when I dropped my sunglasses and reached under the booth, I noticed the walls and floor underneath could use a deeper clean. Everything else around us was clean, it just seems like some detail work is needed.
Overall, we will definitely return. The food, atmosphere, and price were just right.

We just discovered this adorable diner! Such a wonderful atmosphere with cool memorabilia, not to mention excellent food. Our party had the breakfast special and the double cheeseburger… everything was cooked to perfection! And the service was especially excellent: fast, thoughtful, and thorough. Love the warm, relaxing vibe that felt like eating at a family member’s kitchen. Will definitely be back!

Better Days Diner – A Five-Star 50s Gem
After an unfortunate experience at Big Bad Breakfast, where my family felt unwelcome and discriminated against, we decided to leave and try Better Days Diner. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we had made the right choice.
Themed around the fabulous 1950s, Better Days Diner is a nostalgic escape with impeccable service, a warm atmosphere, and delicious food that transported us to a simpler, happier time. The staff were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and attentive, making sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect.
The location is charming and adds to the retro ambiance, with vibrant décor, classic tunes, and an inviting energy that feels like a scene straight out of a vintage movie. The food was incredible—prepared with care and served promptly, proving the restaurant’s dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
Better Days Diner truly lives up to its name. It transformed what could have been a bad day into one filled with joy and positivity. This is a place where everyone is treated with respect, kindness, and top-notch hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and an unforgettable experience. Five stars all the way!
