Long queue, but with that aside service was slow. Cuts of meat, and sides took very long to come out of the kitchen, and onto the table. When the meats finally did arrive definitely not worth it. More fat and tendons than meat. Meat was still frozen and, breaking apart then trying to get it onto the grill. $49.99 for the prime all you can eat menu which offered about 6 more options from the premium menu that was $39.99. The added bonus was better cuts, but limited 1 to 2 orders of each. Much better options of kbbq all you can eat in this price range in the area.

My fav Korean BBQ in North County. And I know Korean quite well having lived there several years and worked for a Korean company. The service staff is pleasant and responsive, quick to fill requests, and seem engaged in their work. Lunch special is awesome, priced well, with a full menu. The food quality remains high, with a variety of excellent choices. Busy in late evening, but the atmosphere is fun. A little noisy, but this is the ambiance of a typical Korean Restaurant. Competes well with anything on Convoy Street.

We went on a Friday around 5:30 pm and got seated pretty quickly. At first, service was great, our server kept checking on us and took our orders right away. But once the dinner rush hit, things went downhill. They couldn’t keep up with all the tables. We ended up waiting over 15 minutes just for corn and fries at some point.
When the food finally came out, they messed up our order and brought us corn two times and two extra sides of fries we didn’t ask for. Also, unlike other Korean BBQ spots, they don’t give you the usual little side dishes/appetizers when you first sit down, which was kind of disappointing. The place also felt super warm inside, not sure if the AC wasn’t working or what.
Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, and I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

We get here at 6.30 and it’s was a perfect experience to get acquainted with korean barbecue. Our waitress was Riley she did such a good gob with recommending best item and giving us the tips for the cooking so we didn’t get lost. I will come back only to be served by her and of course the quality of the food was on the best level!!

Had a great dining experience overall! The meats were flavorful, the sides were fresh, and the service was friendly and attentive.
The only downside for me was the kimchi — it was a bit too saucy and lacked that traditional crispness and tang that makes Korean BBQ complete. In a Korean restaurant, having solid kimchi is essential, so that took away one star.
Still, a good spot to satisfy that K-BBQ craving!

On the search for the best korean barbecue around and this place is definitely on the top of my list! Love the variety of meats and also sides. The meat was really flavorful and the sides were amazing. Only flaw I had with the place was their lack of good sauces. Place is very clean and was ran smoothly. Would definitely see myself coming back soon!

Food was okay, I have been here once before and it was good enough for us to come back… After today, I do not think that this will be the spot to go to. The service today was slow and we only got refills on waters about 3 times. The floors are very slippery– which to me, screams that they don’t mop. My friend almost slipped on the way to the bathroom. Not a fan of how our sides were served either. It comes on a robot and we have to grab them ourselves. They also only cleared our table when asked. Other than that, they just walk by and let things pile up. For a table of four, that leaves us zero room to move around without burning ourselves. The galbi is what makes it worth it here but the service is a deterrer. I also overheard one of the servers complaining about someone leaving a “5 dollar tip on a 70 dollar bill.” Try zero! Perhaps evaluate why people are not tipping you well. I shouldn’t be able to hear you out on the floor complaining, it is so unprofessional. Tipping isn’t mandatory especially when the service was barely deserving of a tip.

I know a lot of people love this place and I’m probably going to sound harsh but I think this place is ok. The cucumber salad was gross, I wasn’t a fan of the tofu soup, some the marinated meat flavor was not for me. The other meat that was not marinated was good.
The service was also just ehh. Some of ladies just throw the plates and no one looks happy. We also waited for one hour before being seated.
For me this place is not worth the price but if you love meat and all you can eat then it’s perfect for you.

We came at a great time so the wait was not bad at all. We did experience a lot of our orders not coming out on time or at all even though it was not busy.
So why the 5 star review despite these problems, it was because of our AMAZING SERVER, her name was VI. She was so patient and super nice and apologized for other people’s mistakes even though she did not have too.
Thank you so very much VI. They need to hire more people like VI!
