Such a good little breakfast spot in the thumb!! There aren’t very many options but this one is the best hands down! They have fantastic service and the food was sooooo good. They are really good about substitutions which is nice. The coffee was also notably delicious. We will definitely be back!

We tried Bucks for the first time! We constantly drive through Port Hope all the time and have never stopped for a meal. We got ourselves breakfast. You can see it in the picture. The waitress was super friendly and the food was just amazing! It’s just a small little spot but it’s perfect for me! I go through here a lot and from now on I will always be stopping in! I can’t wait to have lunch next time

Have wanted to drive over from Bad Axe after seeing so many great reviews and now I understand why. Breakfast was delicious and I wanted to try more than one thing. We stopped in for breakfast at Buck’s Port Hope Diner and loved it! It’s a cute little spot with a welcoming, small-town feel. Even though they were busy, we didn’t have to wait, and the staff was friendly and attentive the whole time. I ordered the Western omelet and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the Port Hope area!

My husband and I go to Buck’s almost every Sunday; some times we have to wait 10/15 minutes for a table, but it’s sooooo worth it! The food is delicious and comforting, and the staff is so friendly. One of the best breakfast places we’ve ever been too!

Went here for breakfast on vacation and everything was great. They have maybe the best coffee I’ve ever had at a diner and the food and prices were great along with friendly service.
I got their house made spicy sausage patties with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. The home made sausage was really good with a nice level of spice. My wife got ab omelet with bacon and cheese which was good as well.
Lots of seating inside with tables and booths. Classic diner experience.
If you’re in the area, you can’t do any better for breakfast.

Went for a Saturday morning breakfast. Not so busy, I think I was earlier than the usual crowd. Nice choice of breakfast offerings, and huge portions served up. Not many other choices in the area, but that’s OK – Buck’s is all you need.

Unexpected treasure. We were starving and would have settled with just about anything. Luckily we didn’t have to! We did The Bucks Special. You tasted quality throughout; freshly made bacon, sausage ham and hash browns. Perfect! Don’t know if that bake their own but we were also surprised with thick cut marble rye. Couldn’t cook a better breakfast myself at home. That says a lot.

Nice family restaurant. Great looking decor and great service –very friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. The pancakes were fluffy and sweet! Overall great menu and choices. I would love to see fruit or fruit cups -that would be a nice addition:)
