Located in Indialantic, Monkey Bar serves great food and pizza, and is a laid back bar that locals love. It’s also a prime music venue in the area.

Came here for the first time. Wasn’t sure what to expect because we’ve had a lot of negative experiences at other local bars. Bartender named Matt was the man! Really nice guy to chat with, quick service and he brought a lot of positive energy. We will definitely be back especially if Matt is working!

We went last night 12/5/25. Everything was great.. nice bartender specifically the shorter, curly-haired one, fun patrons, games, good drinks, awesome DJ. However, I’m giving 1 star for the women’s bathroom. I don’t know who hung up that mirror, but its placement is perverted. I shouldn’t be getting a generous view of myself while I go wipe. Of course it could be a honest mistake. Unfortunately, with the things you learn of nowadays and the creativity of weirdos, makes me think it may be something more sinister.

Edit:
Response to owner 12/9/25:
I would like to add that I made sure to get additional feedback from others in my group, they went to the men’s bathroom and he said that the mirror was not like that. Maybe you don’t think it’s weird because you’re not using the women’s restroom. I’ve been to plenty of bars, a mirror in front of the toilet has nothing to do with ADA regulations and is not normal practice.

If want to dismiss it, that’s your prerogative. I’m giving you genuine feedback and review, a five star rating would require a five star experience on all fronts or exemplary service.

We wanted to visit this location because we have a Monkey Bar back home that we love and visit weekly. We were quite disappointed when our server reported that they were out of hamburgers in the middle of the day! We thought that was quite ridiculous since their menu is heavily burger choices. Our server was pleasant and efficient, but we decided to leave because we really wanted a burger. This would be a great place to watch a game with a really cool multi screen tv wall.

We had a blast shooting pool and playing on their extra long shuffleboard table. We were entertained for over 4 or five hours. The tequila was great! Cuban was good, and the pretzels were huge. Keep in mind that this is a bar and not fine dining. The music was bumping. There was a bar in Athens, GA, called the Blue Monkey. Same kind of vibe. I loved that place!

If you and your friends are looking to hang out and have a few drinks and some entertainment, hit this place up.

I am currently getting married in Melbourne, Florida, and my fiancé and I have been visiting local venues to choose a location for our after-wedding celebration. We were referred to Monkey’s as a recommended spot for our party, so I stopped by today (11/23/25 at around 2:30 PM) to see the space and meet my fiancé there.

The venue itself is beautiful and seemed like a great fit — however, the service I experienced was extremely disappointing. When I entered, I wasn’t greeted, but I didn’t take issue with that. I simply approached the bar to order a drink. The bartender, named Kendal, did not acknowledge me, offer assistance, or even greet me. It was not busy — everyone else at the bar was already served — yet she walked directly past me multiple times, clearly seeing me, without a single word.

After quite a while, even the busser asked if she had helped me because it was obvious I had been waiting. I told him no, and only then did he prompt her to serve me. When I asked if they had High Noons, her response was dismissive — she simply replied “no Nutrls” in a short manner, with no courtesy or smile. I then ordered one, but she ignored me yet again and proceeded to rearrange straws instead of preparing the drink I had just requested.

I am absolutely not someone who writes complaints or negative reviews — but the owner needs to be aware that this level of customer service is genuinely damaging the business. We were planning to host an after-wedding event here with around 100 guests, a night that would have generated substantial revenue. Unfortunately, because of this experience with one employee, we have chosen to move our event elsewhere — specifically next door to a great venue bar called BUNKYS.

I encourage management to review camera footage for the date and time listed above. I was wearing all white and have a beard. This is not written out of spite — it is written so the owner has a fair opportunity to address a serious service issue that may be costing the establishment significant business.

Really great hang out, food is good for a bar… I just wish they’d bite the bullet, spend the money, and vent those bathrooms… they’re horrible. If it wasn’t for that I’d go there more regularly. Good stage, games are fun, T.V.’s are nice.

My wife and I have been playing pool, drinking, eating, and having a good time at Monkey Bar for more than 10 years. The food was always good, and the bartender – Megan – was nice and friendly and always kept our glasses full. I even gave them a 5-Star review.

Unfortunately changes have occurred recently: all the pool tables have been replaced and the rates increased. “Free Pool” Wednesdays an Sundays now cost $2 for 2 games – no option for a single game and the price is higher for credit card. Considering they’re new tables that might seem reasonable. But they don’t take care of them any better than the old ones.

Other than Megan, we’ve never had another server actually come to the table for food or drink service. Months ago they started charging a 3% “service fee” for credit card use. But the fee is automatically added to the check and the bartenders say they can’t remove it if I pay cash! And today, not only did she say she couldn’t remove the service fee when I paid cash, but she shorted me on change saying they don’t handle “jingle change”. In other words, she rounded up to the next dollar resulting in me paying more for cash than if I had used a credit card.

To add insult to injury, we planned to eat there but she never came to the table, never offered us food or asked if we wanted to order anything. Might have been tolerable had they been busy. But we got there minutes after they opened at 3:00, left about 6:00 and she only had two other customers the entire time.

From now on we’re heading to a place that cares about their customers and service.

Great place to watch the game and have a few beers. The “Loaded Fries” were a bit lacking; diced tomatoes and green peppers don’t replace bacon well in my book. Fun place though!

Eh what the heck? I thought I reviewed this place what happened? Anyways the place is aight. Nothing special just a local bar with darts, pool/billiards, some other things. They didn’t have their kitchen open when I came but they do have one.
