Our new weekend breakfast spot. My protein-loving husband can’t get enough. The meats are wonderful and well-cooked. The beef tongue is the best I’ve had. The portion sizes are very generous. When we think what other places offer for the same price, this place wins, hands down. Why pay $12 for a breakfast sandwich when you could get a loaded plate for the same price? I do wish the breakfast beverage selections were a little wider, but they’re not bad. It’s a cozy place and at 9am on a Saturday we can always find a table.

Ooookay…. I learned about this place off of Facebook and thought I would check it out. It’s a nice place but very small. So there’s a good chance you’ll have to wait for a seat. There is seating outside but it too is limited. Now for the food…..Unfortunately a lot of items were sold out so my options were limited. So I suggest getting there early. I ordered the brisket sandwich and my wife had the Love Handle plate with bacon. The food came out hot and was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. Maybe today was a bad day. If you’re in the downtown area and you want some breakfast give this place a try.

Great spot for breakfast! Order at the counter from the chalkboard menu at this charming spot. We stopped in on a late Saturday morning. Biscuits and gravy (traditional, not the spicy option) were out of this world! Grits with pork belly also quite good.

I really liked a lot of the vibe
The menu did not have a lot for me tissue from because of my food preferences. I got a turkey salad sandwich- the turkey was strange dark chunks and I am more into light meat and healthy organic options. But if you’re more into fried food – you may like it.

Great breakfast spot after a long night out. I had the brisket potato bowl and my wife had jalapeño grits with pork belly. Everything was absolutely delicious. Had a very cozy vibe. It was a little pricey for breakfast, but they are serving a premium product, so worth it in my opinion. We’ll definately be back when we’re on that side of town.

Love Handle is restaurant for people who love the ambiance of artsy book nook with a little bit of a retro vibe to it. It is very expensive ($42 without tip for 2 meals of eggs and bacon with coffees) but the food is farm to table style. The coffee is potent, the atmosphere is unique due to the limited capacity and the themed art offerings on the walls. The service is slow so not a place to go if you are in a hurry. The coffee is potent, the water tastes like tap water. Is it worth it? I say no but a cool place to see.

This is the lost nostalgia eating place for someone who was brown or grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. But not only that, the food is absolutely incredible! It really will give you love handles if you’re not careful. The brunch or lunch options are crafted to original perfection. Grab a fried for mimosas or bring the whole family, great for either one. What an amazing concept for a restaurant and the owners are just as amazing! Thankful for this slice of nostalgia in the heart of Indiana.

I love coming to Love Handle.
No bad experiences.
It has very busy times, but I’ve never seen anyone wait for a table.
Its a great place for me to eat and work casually and feel welcomed.
